My refining numbers in 1.6.3:
Blacksmithing (1240 ore)
Honing Stone - 21 (17%)
Dwarven Oil - 14 (11%)
Grain Solvent - 9 (7%)
Tempering Alloy - 2 (1.6%)
Woodworking (1510 rough wood)
Pitch - 17 (11%)
Turpen - 20 (13%)
Mastic - 11 (7%)
Rosin - 7 (4.6%)
I don't think I have made any conclusions based on that sample size, but thanks for your input... It can be easily combined with other results for a better sample size. It was done with 3/3 in extraction.starkerealm wrote: »At 124 refinements, your margin for error should be... what? 20% 19.5% Somewhere in there. It's not encouraging, but it's also not that meaningful... no offense.

Yes, because the "significant increase" of gold mats was bugged and hot-fixed (let's even say stealth-fixed) as soon as people started reporting it. Some even claimed that it was intentional, so ZOS wanted to prevent us from getting a burst of gold waxes/rosins etc. right after the patch, but since we can't prove it, it's just a theory.newtinmpls wrote: »Hmmm I don't recall ever getting gold items from my refining, but this morning in refining 50 jute, I got two of them. Weird.
