Feeling a bit underwhelmed by CP choices

I think it's great that we can use CPs to increase our magicka/stamina/health regen, increase our damage with light/heavy/elemental/etc attacks, increase our resistance etc, but these feel kind of boring to me.

I wish I could use points that (or unlock an equivalent passive)

-increase range of attacks by xx
- decrease break-free costs by xx
- increase immunity after break free by xx
- convert xx of incoming damage to magicka/stamina
- increase your chances of catching a rare fish by xx
- decrease falling damage by xx
- decrease potion cooldown by xx
- increase stealth radius by xx
- decrease research times by xx
- increase running speed by xx
- increase swim speed by xx
- decrease lock difficulty by xx
- decrease time to enter stealth by xx
- discount gold to fast travel by xx
- get riding lessons twice a day

I'm hoping the options get a little more creative than what I'm currently seeing.

    Well I think the balancing they are trying to do is between the CPs and skill lines. So with the classes if everyone can get some of these there goes a class feature. I doubt those are going away although I and many others would prefer if they did away with the class system. Some are not bad ideas and who knows what the future brings there might be content that increases the CP system.
