Is Champion Point gain fair? Does it need changes?

    Time based is a TERRIBLE idea. It encourages people to stay logged in even though they aren't playing, which creates lag and log in queues.

    It's not entirely time based, you stil have to do something, only difference - you would no longer be forced to grind, you would be free to play however you like.
    CP gain would become natural, not forced as 1.6 system proposes.
    diminishive returns(severly up to the point) would ensure staying longer than 'normal' hours would not benefit you with CP gain on that day, therefore you stay within reach of others. And, of course, diminishive returns would prevent use of bots for 'grinding' CP.

    Can i has some response from ZOS what you guys think about my option?
    I believe it's a valid option giving you option to regulate speed of CP gains while system being fair to almost everyone.

    No, it favours grinding instead of 'normal play', needs some adjustments(grind vs pvp, RP, crafters)
    As much as I hate time gates, that is going to be the only way to make the Champion System work. Right now it is tuned to hold back the super grinders that will sit and grind for 5 days straight with no sleep. That leaves normal players unable to progress.

    As much as I hate time gates, that is going to be the only way to make the Champion System work. Right now it is tuned to hold back the super grinders that will sit and grind for 5 days straight with no sleep. That leaves normal players unable to progress.

    time option is best for devs themselves, it gives them full freedom to adjust at any time the values, even individually, makes their life lot easier in the future.
    Current pts system is just plain wrong, on so many levels...

    it should be in ZOS own interest so that system is fair/balanced and doesn't drive people away, nowadays people get bored quick, and enraged of disbalance xD

    Which is pathetic.

    I've said it a thousand times. The way to make money in an MMO is to build a large devoted fan base that pays a reasonable price for regular installments of high quality DLC.
    Dear ZoS - Sell us great content at a reasonable price. Stop the Grind!!

    RPers don't really need Champion points do we? So why do I care if I earn them super fast? I am perfectly fine with hardcore PvEers and PvPers having more Champion Points than me.

    do you represent every Rper out there? didn't think so, nevertheless it's fair to give every1 almost same amount of CP , instead of forcing to go 'grind' their arses off to get their chars better than rest.

    It won't work. The only thing that I really find necessary in the Champion system is the 12% crit passives, which won't take too long to get. Everything else I am fine with getting as I get to it.

    Don't hold your breath waiting for that. Just know that as you put it out they read. Unless it is directly related to something that needs clarification, your best way of doing something like this is to send feedback in the game. And I *really* doubt they're going to make movement at this point in that drastic a direction.

    I have another idea. Exp and earning Champion points stay the same, however there is a queue for Champion points awarded. I think the max should be one per hour (or some other agreeable time period). If you earn more than one champion point in that one hour period, the other points are held in a queue and awarded once every hour (you could theoretically grind a ton, then log off and the next day log back in and they will all be there). The queue will still regulate the rate you get points, but all the exp you gain won't go to waste.
