Why are recovery enchants so bad now?

On live recovery enchants are 18 for max values... Cost reduction is 20 for the same thing...

On pts though recovery enchants are like 58 I believe... and cost reductions are like 200..

That's so way off.

    Because the whole "x10" thing was a lie, everyone has been nerfed come 1.6, you have to invest in the champion system to get back to what you were already at in 1.5

    Because of this you aren't actually progressing further, you're making up for what they took away :s
    Or at least that's what it feels like...

    thats what i am concluding .... all our stats are nerfed and camouflaged with the new 7x on one stat, 5x others, 10x on others. Doesnt help there is no way in this game to qualitatively test anything with out addons.

    They did say in the AMA that our characters will feel weaker after 1.6 goes live. But in the end they will get stronger using the champion system. They were pretty clear about this.

    Well yea. I think that was their point from the start. I know some people might not agree with it (I could be one of them as well)....but the regeneration of resource pools was getting out of hand for certain builds. No immortal tanks with 20 people around them just due to permablocking....thanks.

    Unfortunately this is the way it seems to be. For me who have already accumulated 100s of millions of VPs and XPs and whatever it is they will call it tomorrow, this will just completely break the game for me. If I have to grind 100 million XP again to get back to doing the same stuff I'm doing now, I'll just gtfo.

    I agree with you completely. 1.6 is telling me that I will have to create a new character in order to not feel the pinch from the update - I don't know if I want to put all that time into another character, nor do I want to just mindlessly grind to improve the old one.

    At the rate I'm earning experience, it would take me a week to earn one CP; I'm looking at some 30 weeks just to recover my old Crit rate.

    Well they kind of shifted the balance from jewelry enchants to set bonuses and mundus boons in terms of relative power.

    For magica reg for example in 1.6 a jewelry enchant is 33% as compared to live. A set bonus is equal to live and the atronarch mundus has been buffed by about 100% (gives 400 magica regen on altmer with 5 light armor pieces).

    Atronach mundusstone is 200 instead of ~20

    Why would they forget to change these numbers when they are already changed....just to a less extent than other bonuses. I think I am going more with Derra's explanation...that they are shifting the focus on different things now.

    That is not entirely bad....just different.

    In order to keep a competitive ground for when B2P comes. :P It's basically a reset but I guess it doesn't bother me much.

    Yea that is a good assumption. It doesn't bother me either....just need to adapt.

    its also a way, to make sure if you want your vr14 back to power state, you will have to start leveling a new char in order to get all the CP points.

    not saying its a bad thing, im going to do it, for more reasons then just CP points.

    also to learn the new skills, 10x to stats and such
