If things stay on the PTS server, as is, i think just about anyone can heal end game PvE and PvP. I can not give exact numbers (im at work), but i believe all the info i give below is pretty close to actual numbers i looked at on the PTS.
Vast majority of players feel that Templars are really the only End Game Raiding class, primarily due to our class heal, Breath of Life.
PTS Templar "BREATH OF LIFE" Stats (approximate):
Heals 3 targets...1st target for 4,700-ish...2nd & 3rd target for 2,500-ish...Total Healing Output (assuming non-crit heals) = 9,700-ish
Cost...2,300-ish magicka
PTS Alliance War Support Skill "CLEANSE" Stats (approximate)
***Note that i am giving the best case scenario for "Cleanse" (assume it will hit whole raid, etc.)***
Heals Entire Raid (12 Man) for 21% of targets Max Health (assuming that players health in 1.6 averages 20,000) = 4,200 per target...Total Healing Output (assuming non-crit heals) = 50,400-ish
Cost...1,800-ish
NOTES:
- Both Skills are Instant (No Cast Time)
- BoL heals 3, where Cleanse can be raid wide
- BoL Has 28 Meter cast range, Cleanse is a 12 Meter Radius AOE heal
- Cleanse has a lower magicka cost compared to BoL.
- Wearing 5-piece Seducer, 5-piece Warlock, and all cost reduction jewlery, i was able to spam "Cleanse" 27 times before completely out of mana.
STILL NEED TO TEST:
- Can the "Cleanse" heal crit?
- Is "Cleanse" still unlimited in the number of targets it purges and heals?
I have yet to run Cleanse in a raid on the PTS, but i hope to do some testing this weekend and post my results. Templars will still be the "best" healing class in the game, however, the gap between the next best healing class has greatly decreased.
Thoughts?
