Skill Point Constraint Increases Significantly in 1.6

If you currently feel there are too many skills and passives which you need but there are not enough skill points in the game to activate those skills, then 1.6 makes that situation much worse.

Between the four new Alliance War active skills with their morphs and the new Legerdemain (Justice System) passives, there are 28 more skill point sinks in the game but there are no new skill points to be acquired.

My main character has 299 skill points as I have collected every skyshard in the game, completed all of the Cadwell's Almanac quests, reached PVP Rank 30 and cleared all but a few of the Undaunted dungeons. These 28 new skill point requirements are forcing me to dump numerous skills and passives, costing me versatility, options, self-sufficiency and survivability. It is obviously much more challenging for other VR14s who have far fewer skill points than I do.

@ZOS - If you are going to add several new skills to the game, you need to offer mechanisms for acquiring new skill points to activate those skills. Having too many skill points is a far better "dilemma" to have than having too few of them.

they probably did it, so we cant get the best of everything, and need to pick and choose the sacrifice a long the way.

    personal opinion

You should never have enough skill points to get every skill in the game , let alone get every morph for them , at the same time without respeccing to use your skill points in differant skills .

I like they give us "play the way you want" but "within these rules". I believe that motivates people to group since everyone will have to focus on doing A or B or C or D, etc. If you can do all on your own and solo the game it is not a MMO anymore. And that comes from a DK that can solo almost anything. However I prefer groups. Giving more reasons to players band together and enjoy their game time together is a plus but they must fix the group phasing content though!

I have 285 skill points AND my character is a crafter. So there goes 115 points to my crafts and the rest on Class Skills, 2 Weapons, 3 Armours, few passives here and there and Werewolf maxed. Perharps if they would split the crafting system to not have to use skill points, it would be much more fair. Just level your crafting skill and get the perks automatically.

This will divide many people but if there is a time to discuss it must be now before they push it to live. They are clearly forcing alts and group content as means of time sink.

Once the PvP part gets introduced, that will be another skill line. Will people want to have both skill lines in their set ups?

For the people who thought I was being silly having some characters specialize in certain crafts so that my combat characters would have enough skill points...perhaps I wasn't being so silly after all?

I'm not sure how I feel about this.

I feel the pain of not having the skill points for everything I want, but on the other hand, I don't think I should be able to do everything on one character.

But a couple of extra skill points would not be bad.

I like this. there are a TON of skill points in this game. I have a lot being wasted now. Sorry, you have to make decisions.

Right now I have every single crafting, vamp, DW, Sword Board, Resto staff, some fighters guild, some mages guild, all the alliance war...and still have 6 pts left over.

I look forward to SPs being more valuable. Go get those skyshards!

    Bosmer (Wood Elf)
Moonlight Crew (RIP), Misfitz (RIP), Victorem Guild

VR16 NB, Stam build, Max all crafts.

Azuras & Trueflame. Mostly PvP, No alts.

Semi-retired till the lag is fixed.

Love the Packers, Bourbon, and ESO...one of those will eventually kill me.

Since the champion sistem allows you to do 1 build a time you dont need 300 skill points to do that build: if you specialize in magika in the ch sistem you dont need the 2h,2w,s&b passives or actives skill maybe 1 but not all tree...
In the live now with 300 skill points on my main i have 2 professions maxed out, 2 tipes of armor, all the class skills, 4 weapons, mages guild, fighters and undaunted; and i'm a werewolf.. so i think you have a good skill points poll
