New to PTS and a question

Really excited to try out the 1.6 things and for the new game model in general so I got the PTS working etc.

Now for the new question - I see reference to "templates" so we can tryout the Champion Point system in more depth than my VR1 character but I'm at a loss as to how one actually makes a character using it. Help is appreciated.

Hiya and welcome. Just use the left top drop down menu whilst in the character screen to roll a new character. Several are there, I used Template Vr 14. Pick an alliance and continue as before. Look in your inventory for a yellow parcel carrying lovely armors etc.

Note: also log into your highest character AFTER making a new template as the old character gets a skill reset, and it helps the server add your previous content like imperial edition.

I clicked through my characters fairly quickly but did get my pets, horses and costumes (Golden Saint) loaded into the new collectibles tab which I like immensely

Thanks for the info, looking forward to trying it all when I get home today.
