Jewelry Nerf

Is it an intended change that Jewelry Regeneration is Nerfed massively? I did not see that in the patch notes. A good VR 5 Magic Regen ring went from 50% better than the Magic regen from any armor set to 50% LESS (was +15 ring, +10 armor set; now +45 ring, +110 armor set). This is a MAJOR change and it appears many of the other jewelry buffs were similarly Nerfed. Intended or Mistake??

Maybe part of trying to make drinks more viable?

What you are saying makes absolutely no sense. Please use game terms.....

Of course. Because when you have an armor piece, it's final. But a drink is used up... It's a gold sink. At best.

At worst, it's to sell buffs in the cash shop.

OP is right, I've gone over it in one of my threads
    - Jewelry enchants are a minuscule part of the equation compared to live. For instance, a gold magicka regen glyph in live is +18, but in 1.6 it's +58. Same for spell damage, +14 on live but +48 in 1.6. Meanwhile, set bonuses have about a 10x multiplier, +12 magicka recovery becomes +123 and +9 spell damage becomes +171. As you can see, this means that any build relying on jewelry enchants to up a certain stat are no longer viable, your build is dependent on your set bonuses. As a result, going with a magicka build leaves me handicapped with a much lower stamina regen compared to live where I can sacrifice spell damage and go with stamina regen glyphs.

In ESO update 5, A purple enchated VR5 Magica Regen ring would add +15 to your regen. At the same time, and armor set that had Magica Regen (like Seducer) would add +9 at VR5 (purple again).

Now most stats in 1.6 are 10x. The exact same VR5 ring only adds ~+50 (should be +150), while the armor set is adding ~+100. So the ring benefit went from 50% better than an armor set to half of the armor set.

High VR level players will have regen near 1000 (I know it will vary, but). The armor set is adding 10%, the ring 5% in Update 6. Rings are a 15% buff in Update 5 and previous.

This is a MAJOR debuff. Can't find anything in path notes.

I bet there are several buffs/nerfs that aren't in the patch notes.

Has anyone logged a PTS bug on this issue? If not at least one of us needs to do so.

Probably because of champ pts can be spent to give buffs to regen and dmg, this way, champ pts ends up doing basicly nothing to your chars build/specc since you loose what you gain, so to speak (speculation)

I added it to the PTS bug log list on the forums. Not sure this is intended, as it wrecks Enchanting.
