NPCs, Players, Objects and Even my character won't load

Hi,I got the game yesterday and managed to get out of the tutorial area into stonewalls, but I have been having issues with objects in the environment and enemies not appearing for ages, if at all.
Players are also rarely appearing and sometimes my character wont even appear meaning I cant move until I reload the game. If I move too far I get kicked to an endless loading screen. This happens on any graphical settings including the lowest. As far as I can tell my PC is well above the minimum requirements I need to run the game, and my internet connection seems fine. I've tried a few generic fixes i've found on the internet but with no results. Has anyone else had a similar problem?
