• ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – March 6, 6:00AM EST (11:00 UTC) - 4:00PM EST (21:00 UTC)

Formula for AP needed for next rank?

Just curious, is there a predictable patterns or algorithm for the increase in AP needed between each promotion (new title grade 1, new title grade 2, next title grade 1...)?

For example, could you actually calculate what rank you would reach if one doubled the AP needed to reach lieutenant second grade?

    Well, here's a list of ranks, icons, and AP needed. I don't have a lot of time at the moment since I'm headed out of town, but I could look at it later and see if there is a formula here. Or someone else could...

    Alliance Points

    It's not entirely complete as it does not show alliance ranks in assault and support beyond level 6, but I think it will help you out a lot.

    Also I just noticed that after rank 1, the amount needed to go to rank n is 1600 * (n-1)^2

    There was a post about this months ago showing the exact amount of AP needed to get from rank 1-50 and every level in between. Ill try and dig it up and see if i cant find it.

    Also shows that the formula above is the one used in figuring out AP needed per level.
