Anyone else experience horrible lag? I've been a paid subscriber since August and the lag is unbelievable. It's so bad that I even get booted from server.

Welcome to ESO...the server is working as intended...they did remove deer from cyrodiil but that didn't do anything.

Never been booted from the server but I got a lag spike of 12k one day.

What are the conditions with which players have started getting kicked again?

Not trying to be rude, but I haven't gotten any relevant amounts of lag in a bit and can't recall the last time I got booted. Just noticing that some people are apparently suffering from more lag than normal.

Is this in Cyrodiil, NA or EU, what rig do you have setup, etc.?

Doesn't hurt to send a ticket to CS - they usually reply very quickly, and just posting a "I have lag" thread with no details doesn't really help you either with it being more vague / ranty(?).

It's easier trying to find what doesn't cause me to crash.

Last night I crashed while turning on my "hide helmet" setting. The night prior I was accepting a group invite. It's happened while changing gear, opening a menu, pretty much any action.

It's always an action, but there's no rhyme or reason, and it's not repeatable. I'm starting to think it's just my hard drive going bad, but I don't know.

Game is unplayable at the moment. It was fine 6 hours ago but when I came home it cannot be played. Every 30 seconds you have 10 - 12 secs lockups.

Sure
1. about one hour ago, logged off after couple minutes of lagging around the town. Persistent 500 latency with several second lag spikes.

Ahh, then you missed the lag earlier last summer after the lighting patch went in...

I haven't had much lag today, and I've been in Cyrodiil (Thornblade, NA) while reading and posting in this thread. Not sure why it is unevenly distributed among different players. Which server are you on? Which zones were you in?

I'm in Coldharbour and it's unbearable. I just logged out because I couldn't do anything.

Well now the lag spikes last minutes with no connection at all. The problem is not from my side. Have tried connecting to all kind of services allover the place with no problems.

Yes it is very bad right now for me as well. Spent time making a new character and can't log in with it

Normally I play the game without these huge lag spikes but today it's just unplayable..

I just tested my connexion on my internet provider website (Videotron) and everything is fine.

I'm going to try BF4 right now to see if it's my Rig problem but I don't think so as others seems to have the same problems as me.

Also some don't seems to have this problem, as my friend just told me everything is fine for him... WTF ?!

Lots of lag. Kicked from the server twice while running around in Cyrodiil (Thornblade NA). I was not the only one, many people in our group finally ended up leaving because it was so bad.

1. When did you notice the spike in lag?
2. What were you doing?
3. Which server do you play on?
4. Which zone(s) are/were you in?
5. Do you have add-ons enabled? If so, which?

6. Are you even logging in or are you at work just writing back. Trust me this is something everybody is experiencing right now. I've asked around in zones and my guild. Numerous posts are popping up suddenly on the forums. It's not us.

Has anyone replied to your ticket(s) yet? The group invite I recall was a source of lag back in the day at times, but the rest are odd to say the least.

1. Noticed the lag right after login and throughout the time I was on
2. Just some PVE - it was pretty clear there's no chance in hell to do any PVP with that lag
3. NA
4. Glenumbra/Stormhaven
5. No add-ons just vanilla client

I really don't have any lag usually, have a decent rig and run the game on Ultra settings all the time. Today it's borderline unplayable, haven't had lag that bad since beta.

2. PVE

5. I do but I tested with them off and it's all the same.

I wonder if they are copying US and EU chars for the PTS? I never have any lag -- very good computer and DSL. Last night in Craglorn, I have a few 10+ secs lag spikes that I could not do anything and a few times I could not change my weapon, but still can move around and attack.

Not long before and inbetween the last 2 maintenances (or actually, 1 maintenance and 1 "maintenance"), the spells I've casted were overtaking my character while I kept moving, about 5 seconds later.
I wouldn't be surprised if some of them would still be out there, so if anyone sees some spells crossing their way without any other player in sight, it could be mine from back then, or if you're lucky, maybe even some fresh ones from today
