Forgive me if this has been brought up before, the search function is useless.

Ive been having issues with keys just...doing absolutely nothing all too often and im honestly really sick of it. You go to use a wayshrine, a quest, ANYTHING that uses E, all of us experience a time where it greys out and wont do anything.

Along with that, keys 1-5 act up just as much. Your character does half of an animation and then stops, or just stands there. Hell, sometimes my character simply wont attack or respond to any attack commands. If I remember correctly this really didnt become a huge issue until update 5.

I recommend you get an addon which shows your frame rate and ping rate in the top of the screen.

The only other person I know who was having the same issue as you, once they got that add-on they could see this happened every time there ping rate went up to 1000 and in the end, it was an internet lag issue, not a game issue.

Having this issue in any other online game?

I already had wykkyds toolbar and it isnt happening when my ping spikes. Its also not any of my addons.

Hey there @Lord_Wrath,

We do hate to be a pain, but as add ons are not created or tested by anyone in-house, we can't guarantee that the game will function correctly while they're enabled. Can you please try disabling all of your add ons and let us know if the issue persists?

I also have the issue with greyed out 'E' usually have to swap weapons or reposition the character to correct it, but this

Is most likely a LOS obstruction.
Even when you are targeting a mob (red aura) any thing in your LOS, even a small rock or lump in the ground, will prevent you from attacking. You will see your attack animation start then end suddenly indication you do not have a clear LOS on the target.

You blame more or less all problems on addons, so why not just remove the games poor addon support? Oh wait thad would be bad, then you would would not have anything to blame all the issues in the game on lol

Hey there @lord_dal,

As add ons are able to affect portions of the user interface, we generally start troubleshooting UI issues by asking that they are disabled. This is not an end-all be-all step, just a simple check before progressing into troubleshooting an issue. We definitely understand that this can be frustrating, but we assure you there's a method to it all.

I though it was just me that was having this problem. I also have this problem where keys get greyed out, answering an NPC the text is greyed out, trying to loot gets greyed out.

This game has so many issues.

I remember when Gothic came up how many issues rom the 1st one to the last one of the gothic series it had then Pirahana bytes released patches after patches to fix problems.

Perhapos the Devs should really look at solving all issues before making changes like the champion system and justice system.
It may be huge task. but if bugs carryon it could be to the detriment of the game and people will stop subs and playing it.

its a great game, but really I am wondering if its worth it after all these bugs just on the simple game play.

For someone asking for help with something highly likely to do with a poorly-written add-on, you seem a tad aggressive.

I wonder if this is really conducive to your getting assistance?
