Why is ESO making light attack " weaving " so important ?

    I'm sure they know how to get rid of it; when handling what are called "Windows Events", a programmer may select either "Mouse Button Down" or "Mouse Button Up". That's straightforward; it's essential to use "Mouse Button Up" to avoid what we see as the animation cancelling that allows players to weave attacks together for extra DPS.

    HOWEVER...

    You can't do that with consoles. So there is a disconnect in the design. They opted for the console-relative design approach.

    Stats are changing for more survivability, you must use light and heavy attacks to be effective and they also charge your ultimates.
