Not true. When someone buys (and pays) for an MMO, they're buying (and paying) for an ongoing process, a product that is supposed to evolve and grow based on their promises. There's are hiccups, of course, but the linked interview is a key part of what they promised.
Saying that is like saying that if you vote for a politician that does something wrong two years later you can't complain because you voted two years ago.
