Yeah I've never really understood this concept.

Do people think that players are adjusting their entire life schedule just to be up in the middle of the night to take over Cyrodiil?

I think he is referring to those who are not of oceanic timezone, but stay up to the wee hours of the morning for the sake of flipping a campaign as much as possible to maximize their points during a maintenance

Find or construct battles with players from your area or time zone in other factions? Work with your guilds and friends to organized balanced play at all times? Anything but paint over an undefended map. That's the part that upsets people, it doesn't matter which faction does it or what time if day/night, undefended capping of a campaign deserves derision. If all you're diong is fighting NPCs because play is one sided during "your time" why do it in Cyrodiil? The rest of the world offers a much better variety of NPCs.

AD used to get accused of "night capping" all the time and it formed part of the basis of the hate towards AD. The fact that the "night capping" was due to some Australian guilds (that no longer exist) just playing the game like anyone else would seemed not to matter to the haters. What goes around comes around it seems. Enjoy your humble pie EP.

No, they should be playing on the EU server where they belong. Where there is actual PVP going on at that time. But hey, that's just my opinion.

Umm.. NO.. its not. I live in central US. I play with an Aussie guild. NA primetime is when they are working. What people call night capping, (when idiots who think the US is the center of the universe are sleeping), is THEIR primetime. Get some people in New Zealand/Australia on your faction if you are that worried about it.

(Edit) Besides, the lack of Thornblade flip probably because Hijinx/IR and crew apparently have left Thornblade for Haderus, if rumor and their pres releases are to be believed.

people get p**** when they lose everything they have worked hard for while they sleep.

"nightcapping"(a term I only used to describe a certain group of AD on haderus NA, as that is pretty much all they ever did) is just something people can blame for their frustration.
