Locations for River/Stream fish in Cyrodiil?

I've found lots of great info on fishing on different websites, but so far nothing on where to fish for river/stream catches in Cyro. I can find spots for foul, lake, and saltwater. Any pro anglers have a general idea (south of this castle, east of that keep, etc)?

Many river fishing holes in the river south of Castle Bloodmayne, all the way to Clearwater Camp. Also many sites from Alessia Bridge south to Bravil. Take precautions for both PVP and PVE.

Thanks. I just stumbled across some spots south/southwest of Bloodmayne, not far from where I expected to find saltwater (north of the Gate of Mnem.

And speaking of Salwater in Cyro, the only places I've found are a spot just north of the Mnem Gate, and a couple on the island to the west on the little island with the walls (also lake spots there). If you need salt water try there.

There are 5 ocean fishing holes in Cyrodil, all in the areas you mentioned. There are two by the ford below the Mnem Gate. One is almost beside the ford, the other is close by on the north bank just downstream of a large tree near the bank. The other 3 are all on the shore of Bravil, but you have to get past the deadly slaughterfish to get access to them.

PS, bring a lot of worms, and tread lightly if you are not AD, as Dominion riders frequently cross the ford. The two holes by the ford are enough to get all the ocean rares with patience, worms, and RNG.

I tried the ones by Bravil and got zip, tried one by Mnem and got the two greens before running out of worms.

LOL, did I mention.....bring a LOT of worms. It takes patience and luck. I just bounced from one to the other of the two sites below the gate. By the time one site was fished out, the other would have respawned. Took a few hours and hundreds of worms, but I got all 12 there.

I did OK with the bait I had, but worms are the hardest bait for me to farm. I can get hundreds of crawlers, guts, or insects with about the same amount of effort, but it would take 5-6 times as long (at least) to get the same amount of worms.

Is there a good place to look for them other than the Wailing Prison? Zombies and plants around Tamriel have a much lower drop rate for worms relative to the critters that drop guts and crawlers.

Wailing Prison is the best place to farm. Best option after that is guild stores. I just checked vendors on a regular basis. If I saw worms for 1000g/stack or less I bought them immediately. It's just a big time saver over the Wailing Prison routine. Probably spent 20-30k on worms before I got master angler. Which is not as bad as it sounds, cuz I also pulled quite a bit of high level mats out of gunny sacks.
