Is it against the rules to use spells or token items in banks?

Title.

I've been away from the game for a while. Is this a new rule? I ask because an in game GM threatened to ban me for using the token of root sunder in a bank.

    Yep. He has the Z by his name. It's confusing, because if you go to any bank, especially Rawl Kha, you see this.

    If something like this happens, take a screenshot of the exchange and take it up to support.
    I don't think that it's against the rules, unless you start spamming AOE effects like a madman to annoy everyone in the bank.
