If you leave Majorn's manor after starting the boss fight, as I did (to repair armor and buy potions) you can't get back in. The door responds with the message "you cannot use this door at this time" or something like that. I asked for help on this, and long story short I had to restart the quest from scratch.
Memories of Skyrim come flooding back...it wouldn't be an Elder Scrolls experience without a glitch now and then.
My advice, get ready for the battle before entering the building to do the last fight, because once your in there leaving is VERY risky.
