Good Mouse for ESO?

I have been really really happy with my Logitech G700s gaming mouse. I bought it specifically for ESO to use for potions, map, weapon swapping, dodging, chat box macros, etc It's pretty affordable, has a nice weight (I like a little heavier mouse), multiple profiles can be set, internal memory so you can play on multiple computers with the same settings, multiple sensitivity settings, and a nice little button programming app.

What I really love about it is how long the battery lasts plus the ability to plug/play/charge at the same time if the battery does die while you're playing.

Don't pay the 99USD listed on the website, I got mine for 60USD if you shop around. If you're not in the USA (I'm not) they still sell them everywhere internationally.

The g600 is a nice mouse as well, I just like wireless as I often play in different places. I play the game on a notebook more than a desktop. However, if you're playing on a desktop and don't need wireless, the g600 would be a decent option for you.

    Another vote for G600.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the third top button. (note the groove on the right side of the mouse)

It's indispensable. Your ring finger sits on it and can be programmed to do just about anything. I can't imagine using a mouse with only a left and right click anymore.

Agreed. I only use the keyboard for moving.

I tend to not compare ESO and WoW as far as keyboard and mouse controls are concerned. I use the mouse movement in WoW and keep all of the combat on the keyboard since I never have to swing a weapon.

I have a Logitech G500 because it actually has a limited number of buttons. I really only use one of the side buttons for mounting and dismounting the horse. All the rest are unused since what I want to be doing with that hand is light and heavy attacks during combat and steering out of combat.

If I could find a nice mouse with side buttons conveniently laid out for WSAD, I might try that. The Razor Hex is laid out to look cool, not be functional, which seems common these days.
Yes, in WOW you move with mouse and the keyboard is for all the abilities.
In ESO you move with keyboard, you have less abilities but its more dynamic.

Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

You may be having an issue with the ESO way of things working. Everything in ESO is based on mouseup, not mousedown.

The skills fire on the release of the button not the press of the button, this is counter-intuitive to most other MMO's.

    This thread:

    should help you out :)
Thank you, think this explains the delay, has to look into it.

    @jnjdun_ESO‌

What sorts of things do you use the third button for? Ihave the G600 but haven't found a use for it.

Also, how do you map it? In ESO I can't seem to get it to work in the keybinds.

I use the Razor Naga, Depending on your Hand size and location the 1-6 or the 7-12 works well with your skill bar and ultimate. You probably wont use all the buttons but options are good, and certainly an mmo mouse is a must. I could not imagine using my keyboard hand for all those keystrokes.

Either the Naga or G600 would be a good choice. I forgot why I went with naga specifically but I think partly becuase Naga uses mechanical buttons, but I think I did catch it on a sale. But a mouse like this is such an added benefit. I set the scroll wheel tilt left/right for my sneak and swap weapons which I can do effortlessly in battle.. Less out of the way movements means more fluid battles.

I think either will do you well, just find one on sale.
