Good Mouse for ESO?

I currently use an razer naga mouse with lots of buttons.
Its nice to be able to use abilities while moving, something who I find a bit clunky if I use keyboard, however the buttons on the side is not responsive enough.
They worked well in WOW, however ESO is much more dynamic and I found I can cast faster using the keyboard buttons, don't need all the buttons on the naga but need far more than standard mouses.
Say 5-6 extra.
Any good tips?

Razor Hex? 6 buttons. On the side... ;)
(I wouldn't switch my naga for it...not enough buttons :D)

Looked at the Hex then i bought the Naga however feared the backward buttons on the side would be to hard to reach, I only use the forward six buttons on the naga, can not reach the back three and the 7-9 buttons is hard to click.

Do you have problems with delay in the mouse? for me its an lag from side buttons is pressed to it activates, not an problem with the top buttons or keyboard just the side ones?

    Nope, no delay for me.
Well, except for weapon swap in pvp, but that's another story. Nuffin to blame my poor mouse for ;)

I love my Naga Hex because it's perfect for ESO, but I HATE HATE HATE the laser they use in it. I've heard the same thing from many people who have or have used the Naga Hex.

Standard issue Dell mouse that I grabbed from work seems to do the trick for me.

I couldn't live without my mechanical keyboard though.

I love my Corsair M95. There are about 10 buttons on the side, six of which are extremely conveniently located, which is just enough for all of your abilities and your ultimate.

Weird, I use the standard driver, might look up if something is missing.
At least I know its not an general naga mouse issue.

If not this one might get an mad catz mmo7, fitting mouse for an Khajiit.

Used to only use my G19 and Razer Mamba for all of my gaming, MMO or otherwise.

Around the time ESO came out I bought an Orb Weaver and a Naga 2014. Only use the G19 to log into my PC & ESO. Couldn't imagine having to go back to a mouse with less buttons, or a full-sized keyboard. First-world, amirite?

Though it seems every other update Razer puts out for the Naga makes the laser / tracking temperamental. One update it'll work without a hitch, another update it'll stutter.

I tend to not compare ESO and WoW as far as keyboard and mouse controls are concerned. I use the mouse movement in WoW and keep all of the combat on the keyboard since I never have to swing a weapon.

I have a Logitech G500 because it actually has a limited number of buttons. I really only use one of the side buttons for mounting and dismounting the horse. All the rest are unused since what I want to be doing with that hand is light and heavy attacks during combat and steering out of combat.

If I could find a nice mouse with side buttons conveniently laid out for WSAD, I might try that. The Razor Hex is laid out to look cool, not be functional, which seems common these days.

I second the Razer Naga. It saved my game and I've completely remapped the entire keyboard/mouse keys. I now use it with almost every game I play.

I've had two Naga's in the past, but will never buy one ever again (too many problems, and stupid cloud-based configuration). I had one Naga short out and physically shock my daughter while she was using it, and my Naga 2013 had the super annoying problem where it would stop tracking movement for a couple of seconds radomly.

Switched to a Logitech G600, paired with a Logictech G13 gamepad -- best setup I've ever used, with unified configuration for both devices. I find the G600 to be far more comfortable and intuitive than the naga (which I found to be too small, with no tactile feedback -- the angled rows of thumb buttons on the G600 are a much better design).

You may be having an issue with the ESO way of things working. Everything in ESO is based on mouseup, not mousedown.

The skills fire on the release of the button not the press of the button, this is counter-intuitive to most other MMO's.

Just brought up my new Logitech Cordless Optical Trackman. My second, they are out of production and expensive. Got a near new demo from Bulgaria of all places.

I too need to move while using combat ability's. The Trackman has 3 of my fighting buttons and I keep the other 3 clustered around my ASDLeftAlt movement setup. My weave button on this device is, another, nearly the same button, just above my left mouse button. Weaving Light Attack and a Skill is real easy that way.

After greasing it, oh yeah that's what they need, I keep a small jar of Vaseline handy, it's just great. Like the old one but crisper and my front button works well now.

I use a razer naga 2014 and love. The side buttons are mechanical and give you nice clicks so you know it when through. No lag or anything. Yeah for ESO you don't need all those buttons. The razer naga hex was a second choice but I didn't like the glossy pastic its made of. I might by one in the future when they ever revamp it.

I also tried the Logitech g600 and did not like it all. It was just to clunky feeling the side buttons were mushy and it felt to big for my hand even though its nearly the same size as the naga, I guess the shape doesn't work for me.

I find it's too annoying and distracting to use too much fine control on a mouse. I use a Roccat Tyon but I only really use 3 of the extra button/switches. Specifically, Thumb down for interrupt, Thumb up for ultimate and middle switch for weapon swap.

Another vote for the razor naga here. My hand is too small to comfortably reach the bottom row of buttons but that still leaves me nine which is plenty. I've never had a problem with responsiveness on the naga and I've been using them for years.

This 100%. I went through 2 nagas. Normal operation, no rough use but they both just died on me within a few months. I have had the G600 for over a year now and it's amazing.

I use the Naga Hex, it's works perfect for this game. The only issue is the glossy finish. If you can get the LoL matte finish, it's way more comfortable.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the third top button. (note the groove on the right side of the mouse)

It's indispensable. Your ring finger sits on it and can be programmed to do just about anything. I can't imagine using a mouse with only a left and right click anymore.
