See, this is the exact reason why the forum mods don't want to communicate with us. This company has done something that no other MMO is doing. Offering updates every 6-10 weeks. And all you people have to do is complain that this isn't enough. This update is going to be HUGE. Whether the casuals like it or not, this is a MASSIVE MULTIPLAYER ONLINE RPG... Keyword is MULTIPLAYER. if you run out of quests and stuff to do when the people who are playing with other players, which is what these games are intended for, are busy trying to advance and having fun doing so, then this game has succeeded. MMO's are not designed for soloing, if you want to play alone go buy a ps4 or xbox 1 and leave my MULTIPLAYER games alone.

Usually I don't respond to posts like these but man, you casuals are getting really annoying. And personally if you don't like an MMO because there isn't enough single player content, well then quit. Because these games are never going to be designed to fit a single player but the player base as a whole. Sorry to break the news
Sorry to break the news to you, but every other MMO caters for Solo end game content as they understand that it is quite a large percentage of their subs and also even players who group up for dungeons and raids want something different.

Really your just quit quote does not help the game in the slightest.....

There isn't really any content but there are two new systems that will improve the game.

Is this what I expected when ZOS promised "DLC like updates every 4-6 weeks"?

Hell no. Based on their original promises, Craglorn was going to be in at launch and we should already have the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood (not to mention console versions.)

But even though they clearly over-promised, they aren't behind other MMO developers with the size of their updates. They're just behind their own over-ambitious goals.

I think the Justice System is a good step towards more of a sandbox game. IE. it isn't "content" in the traditional sense of something they make and we "consume" or play-through. They're giving us the tools to make our own "content."

Justice system is repeatable. You can spend time stealing and evading guards (or conversely hunting outlaws) for months and months and the interactions will be different every time.

It's the nature of PvP. PvE is the same every time. PvP (because it's player driven) is dynamic and unpredictable.

The ideal scenario for me with this game would be for ZOS to fix Cyrodil PvP, add the Imperial City, add Justice System PvP, and add dueling. Those 4 things could keep me busy for years and years.

On the PvE side of things, I'd like for them to: A) never increase the level cap again or add new gear tiers B ) Release new story content like the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild [or expansions that explore stories in new areas, like Vvardenfell] C) If they release new dungeons/gear, make them horizontal rather than vertical [ie. the gear does things that other gear doesn't or looks different, but isn't objectively better or worse.]

They need to take more hints form the SP TES games and less from WoW.
I agree with you except the not increase cap or add more tires. The legendary VR14 warlock set is your problem.
I don't realy like tired gear as it tend to make older content irrelevant.

New sets will also make old ones obsolete if better for role, also depend on how hard they are to get.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

OP has a point. I don't see the Champion System as new "content": there are no new maps, no new locations, no new quests, no new things to do. It's mostly incentive for players to stay on ESO, working towards acquiring more champion points in order to boost their characters. This is a good thing of course, but it's very different from a new dungeon or the Imperial City.

The Justice system is new content but it doesn't appear huge at the moment, especially with the PVP part left out for a later date. I don't really intend to go berserk on chickens or on the citizens of Wayrest and I'm not particularly eager for those changes, even though it's always nice to have more options to interact with the world.

The part of Update 6 that I'm looking forward to is class balance and I'd love to hear about it soon. I hope the next ESO Live covers the major changes that we can expect.

I'd love to hear about crafting too but I won't hold my breath. :|

I think this is a pretty good explanation of the OP. I'm personally not at all excited about this Update. Mostly because it's going to change stuff I don't much care about to begin with. I get excited about new zones, new quests, new stuff to explore. I'm excited for Spellcrafting but apparently that won't be in yet. :( I'm glad Provisioning is FINALLY getting the overhaul it desperately needs but as I consider that to be fixing sh*t that should not have been broken in the first place I'm really just more annoyed than excited that it's taken this long. For that matter even the Champion System is kind of annoying when you think about it...because it pretty much means they knew the Vet system was garbage and we've been forced to endure it all this time as "place holder" while they worked on the "real" end game progression system. The only thing I will find exciting about it is if it means I never have to do Cadwell's Silver again.

every other MMO? Really? You mean just WoW? How about Everquest, go to that endgame and solo it... Good freaking luck. There is tons of games out there that as soon as you finish the story, there is nothing for a solo person to do, WoW is not every other MMO

I have to agree that Zeni should be looking towards TES games rather than WOW for ideas.
Take Skyrim for an example, yes it's a solo game but how many times have we rolled a char and played thru that game? Must be hundreds of hours per char.

This game, I wouldn't dream of rolling an Alt to actually play (can't anyway as they are all mule chars...)

Somewhere in the past somebody changed the meaning of an MMO from a 'game where others are online and you can play with them if you wish' TO 'you must group or join a guild or you cannot play all in this game'.

Being forced is a definite way to make somebody rebel against it.
In ESO we basically had a game that was ready from level 1 to 50 and that was it. They are now scrambling to make stuff while fixing other unfinished stuff and it's starting to show, coming apart at the seams if you will.

I fear that by the time there is an actual 'game' after level 50 it may be too late.

Even after that so called 'guild summit' they had they are not listening to the players that play and don't just need to grind something. Once we go, we go and don't come back, many games made this mistake by catering to the wrong people and they are no more now.
