As there have been threads around still saying that there are too many former Emperors I wanted to make a new poll to try and gather data again on just how wide spread it is.

I personally still believe it's a small percentage of the community but am intersted in if I will be surprised.

Feel free to list when, where and how long as well if you like.

I wanted to gain the achievement so I could focus on the PVP and leading raids in future without needing to worry about points.
I have never bragged nor displayed my title due to the shame I feel for how I achieved it, it wasn't the intended way by ZOS but ... achievements. :disagree:

I have never even come close to being Emperor as the leaders for my faction always have at least 3x the number of AP as I do. I don't even sweat it any more.

Thorn reset yesterday and when I logged on yesterday evening, I was already 300K+ AP behind my faction's leader. There is no sense even going after it. I will just continue the march towards my next PVP rank (Tribune!) which I hope to hit next week.

Nope and probably never will be, due to current AD Emperor wanting to surpass Sura as longest reigning Emperor on Haderus. Also, I have a job, sleep, and have a social life outside the game.

Been in top ten overall for past three campaigns and getting enough AP was becoming to feel like a job. And with the holidays and multiple personal life things happening this campaign I'm not even going to bother to try again.

Yes, and idc about the traders messing up the meaning of the title. I had 3-4 emps so far and used to break up emp trading with a friend all the time by going into those campaigns and pushing LOL. I don't go for it anymore and my last one was about 3 months ago, but Ill still wear the title because I would earn it on whatever campaign!

I have a full time job, so I do not expect to ever be emperor. I managed to get my Thornblade rank up to like 100 for the campaign before last by playing only a couple hours a day, which I guess is pretty good. If I kept that up for 18 hours a day, maybe I could be emperor!

actually Emperor was a great idea, but as usual poorly installed, when a game awards the 24/7 crowd more than the core player, because some people tend to live their (whatever they call a life) in a game I just feel sorry for them.

Yes. I obtained my emperor title before 1.3. I really have not been in Cyrodiil much since then, mostly because I'm taking my time in PvE and exploring the rest of the world.
