I added transmute and armor preview in 1 question because i think that this 2 options is "needed" for creating "best" visual skin for your character.

Yes, please. I'm not too fussed about armor preview but transmute or a similar system is a must.
I want to customize the way I look even when I am using dropped sets instead of crafted ones.

So why not give us the ability to change the looks of armor - provided we know the style we want it to be - expending a matching style material and maybe some small gold fee?

Yes only if by transmute you mean change racisl style if this item (only of you know propper style). And no, if you want to make LA looks like heavy.

I voted yes simply because I was just complaining to the husband abt being forced into a dress in a dropped set.
If options weren't necessary, and everyone played the same way, no one would use addons. Fix the UI!

I have to agree, two seperate issues bundled together for no good reason.

I want the preview, but I'm completely indifferent to the transmute option, and putting together means I won't vote on this.

Yup, but all "top" sets are droppable with fixed skins, so if you want to be good in end game content, you will look like christmas tree or clown with tones of different style armor pieces. Only because of that i added "transmute" to the poll, i think that player must have an ability to wear any armor visual as he wants(inside his armor type(only heavy for heavy etc))

I actually prefer some of the lower tier skins/models of some gear. So yeah, some form of transmutation or anything that allows us to use ALL gear skin/model variations in end-game would be awesome.

Armor preview would be nice as well :)

ah yes. say, I prefer low lvl redguard light to high/vet redguard light so this will be nice too.

ps:although I would like this feature you shouldn't be able to, let's say, make your lvl 4 gear look like lvl 40 gear. you should only be able to make your high lvl gear look like low lvl one not the other way around. I'm sure some may disagree though.

Although I answered "YES!", it seems to always fall on deaf ears as far as ZOS is concerned. Players have been begging for this feature since it was released, and probably in beta, but no indication yet it will be implemented. I keep hoping, but I'm not holding my breath either :)

I'd like the higher level Bosmer as well if I could get rid of the enormous, unattached to anything, Tassets floating several inches away from my character's hips.

Without armor preview i spend lot of gold for buy different don't craftable apperances. Also spend lot of material for try crafted pieces ( motifs ).

One of my favorite set is: eso-fashion.com/omrega-eu/http:// based on Graves of the Fire which have unique look, isn't simple pants instead much more armor skirt.

I'm also like Stygian chest - give barbaric appearance,
Necromancer robes - like NPC noble robe and don't interfere with 1 handed sword.

Visual transmute will solve this, you have an robe from a set, you have an jerkin with an style you like and you transmute getting an jerkin of the style you like.
This could be the same style.

Only place this would not work would be for the unique robes who can not be crafted or found as jerkins.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    yes plz
make it a new window on the crafting interface of blacksmith/clothier/woodworker with 2 slots, 1 for the visual armor/weapon u want to be placed in, and 1 for the weapon/armor with the stat/setbonus, below that a button 'merge' or something
maybe add some sort of stone wich you need to be able to convert (3th slot) witch would add another (maybe rare) item to grind, sell/buy,....
maybe add some passives to the skill lines of said crafting lines (if its even needed) so end lvl gear can only be converted by players who have maxed said craft

this would make all the dropped only sets customizable to the way yo u want to look and not everybody look like a breton, aka play the way you want

Either transmute or add cosmetic armor slots on top of the functional ones. This has been done in other games and works great. That way you could have an epic crafted piece for the stats and if you liked the look of some white junk item you can have the look of that. Then there is no transmute required.

I voted NO, but not because I do not care about the look.

I voted NO for Transmute or Tramog, or whatever, because I think that part of the advantage of crafting is also to craft your gear the look you want. If you use a set, it has the visual look of the set. If you allow transmute, then it remove this aspect from the game. I really would like that the Crafting in this game, that is so strong and special in comparison to other game keep its whole utility and advantage.

Transmog also remove the utility of the costume/disguise.

Yes! I want all my armor to look Khajiit. Some of the armor I get just doesn't feel right, especially helms. Why must I remove my ears to wear helmets?
