Yes it is amusing that you do not get that we only talk about Vr12 signets. Everything else from the VR12 set still drops every other run in AA. No one cares since the set sucks if it isn't made with 3 jewelery and 2 armor..So yes your post about lvl 20 Warlock robes is pure comedy.

I did get a Signet ring shortly after 1.5 patch, was in the trash pack before the Mage.

Not seen anyone get one since though!

They need to readjust the drop rate.

Wow. "Elitist jerk" that is new one for me. The subject Vr12 Warlock rings drop rates has generated one or two threads here each week since the nerf. I assume that people know what the issues is by now. My post was only explaining why you got your lols.You specifically asked for explanations. It was not at all elitist but very nice and informative. No one has at any point said that you are not allowed to post here , they just gave you very inoffensive lols and moved along. You post 3 times in a row QQing and asking why people give you LOL's and the poor dude who takes the time to reply explaining why your comments are irrelevant you end up calling Elitist Jerk. You could have said "sorry, didn't know thank you for clarifying it for me" instead of being an actual jerk about it. @Extinctwarlockrings: I've been hearing terrifying rumours how the loot table scales when it comes to the rings. So you would need a VR12 character to farm them in AA. Can someone with more insight confirm or deny

I don't think you understand what "rare" means. People "farm" because it's rare and, they figured, the more often you do an activity that has a slim chance of getting it, the higher your chances of getting it will become.

If it's through a quest or achievement then it is not rare; merely unique.

For an item to be rare, you need the vast majority of the population to not have it. Now, whenever or not you believe that the Warlock ring should be rare; that's something else entirely.

Also, the price is based on supply & demand.

I seem to recall that the V12 pieces set bonusses will be the ones from V1 Warlock instead of V12 (less regen, less everything). Only thing that will be the same is the enchants on your V12 gear as well as the # of armor they provide.

I thought that had been introduced with Update 5. Is this true for all sets? Because I could test it with a crafted set.

I have tested, it scales closer to the lower amount and it isn't 33% there is more of a scaling % to the Warlock set based on level. 2 VR1 rings will drop the final set bonus around 150 magicka, all V1s will drop it a little over 220. Warlock is an excellent set. Magicka Recovery, Magicka, more Magicka Recovery, and a 800 Magicka Shot every 60 seconds.

There are other options like other jewelry with potion enchants but the issues with this is 2-fold, Expensive Potion Guzzler now and you take a hit to a PVP build if you don't have a poison res and/or a fire res enchant.

It hasn't caused me distress, just much amusement. You clearly didn't read my post to the end because if you had you would have spotted that I was disappointed at drop rates for my VR10 (as in zero drops of this item) and was comparing it to lvl 20 drops which seem to be plentiful.

If anything, you commented and lolled at my posts without actually bothering to read them beyond the first sentence of each. So have a LOL for your lack of reading comprehension.

I can confirm this is incorrect, I got one at v14; must of been extremely lucky though as I have not seen anyone get it since (although we don't tend to run AA much as a guild anymore).

Also one of the gamemasters done many simulated loots of AA while in a chat with one of our guildys and didn't get a single warlock ring (I don't remember how many times the GM simulated the loot).

I don't even like the idea of elite gear in any game really. To be honest, I wish gear made up only 5% or 10% of an improvement to stats at best in mmo's. This would probably fix a lot of balancing issues, and stop the usual power creep that ruins pvp in every mmo I've ever played. This power creep is what gets to me. Often items are created which a pvp'er has to constantly grind for, eventually for inordinate periods of time outside of pvp. One thing I really like about ESO is that we can craft some tip top gear. I just wish all sets could be crafted (including Jewelry), though perhaps require extensive research for the difficult to acquire ones (Such as Warlock). I'm ok with crafters being able to do this kind of thing in a pvp economy because I've seen it work in a lot of other games. Anyway that's just my two cents, and I know they're not particularly popular two cents, but they're mine and I'm chucking them into the wishing well. I've not really seen my opinion on gear voiced and just thought I'd share. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way.

It's not just Warlock rings. Im pretty sure that, for whatever reason, they nerfed the drop rate of all V12 rings. V12 Unassailable rings don't drop at all anymore.

As I understand jewelry crafting is on the agenda.
I find it ok that the dropped sets are better since they are far harder to make.

One option for crafting high end sets might be that they require hard to get stuff. Perhaps materials who is rare.

Why hard to get stuff? Why not have a way to use, let's say 100 iron and 100 voids tone smelled down into a brick of something that can be used to craft a piece of now drop only gear.
