Would a second MEGAserver do the trick?
No but maybe a ULTRA MEGA SUPER Server would do the trick.

Zos, you are in denial. As long as you dont aknowledge the fact that zerg and bomb groups are the principal cause of lag, no progress will be made. You are just unable to handle this way of playing that you never anticipated.. You have to find a way to deter people from blobing (where is the new skill you have been talking about ?).
As soon as I go out from a transition shrine and I see the lag, I know there is a train around, it never fails.
I dream of an experiment with a campaign where grouping function would be disabled.

Yesterday evening (7:30-7:45 pst) when AD, EP, and DC were all fighting over DC's scroll at Arrius there was a pretty significant amount of lag. While it wasn't as bad as before the patch, skills were delayed and/or did not work even when fighting away from the keep.

Yah, I was there, would take 1-4 minutes for skills to register if they did. I tested this by doing one type of attack for a while, then exclusively switching to another type, and so on. after very long delay, you would get the damage message (via FTC addon) and only a few at best.

No matter your hatred on blobs, large scale open world pvp (Cyrodiil) was created for large group play. Like I said to others who complained about zergs and blobs in the past, if you don't like this playstyle, join a dueling guild or wait for arenas / battlegrounds.

Its true it was created for large group play. But recently there was kind of an oficial statement from devs saying that by large group they had never meant this intense blobing, thats not the kind of pvp they had in mind. with the lag as colateral consequence.

Then they should implement collision detection in PvP so that people can't stack up. That'd be awesome!

They can't even fix the heal debuff stacking on lethal arrow. You expect them to fix lag ? Impossible lol. Time for me to level up my bow and be a pewpew archer.

Yes, I can confirm that it improved lag on Thornblade EU a lot (meaning we get more lag in case it wasn't clear). Glad to help.

How is it that when a fix is made they have to ask if its fixed? I mean generally when you fix something you have found the problem and corrected it, ergo fixed. I know this is not your responsibility but perhaps you could pass this question on to the quality department i would assume verifies the fixes or the ppl "fixing" the problems or change patch notes to "we think we fixed" and would like feedback

Last night on the NA server, I started playing around 10Pm and around 1:00am EST ( Australia) while in PvE AD 0-50 zones leveling up an Alt, it screeched to a halt with horrible lag, the 3 hours earlier though were fine though. Thought I'd have a look at Cyrodiil as PvE was lagging very badly, basically going to PvP just to see how bad it was.

Unplayable is the word that comes to mind, you'd press a button and somewhere between 3-5 seconds later you'd get a response. So, no the the 1.5.6 patch hasn't fixed lag at all.

I've had a reasonable experience with ESO to date, apart from the exploits that have been raging since beta, which are tolerable in the hope one day they get fixes, I get the occasional infinite loading screens, no big deal. And sometimes the small patches that seem to be many GB's in size need to be fixed after I download, my ISP loves me because of ESO. Well, I just put that down to Sheogorath playing funny buggers.

Apart from all of that, I've had a pretty good run. I'd expect some things not to go as planned, and for the most part things have been tolerable for me. Last night though, that was the straw that broke this Camels back.

The best way I can describe it is, playing ESO at the moment is like looking forward to eating a piece of fruit, you take a big bite out of the apple looking into only to find that what you're presented with is moudly fruit, and you've got a mouthfull of it, and don't want anymore.

Been here since Feb 2014 - You'd think I'd be half reasonable at this game by now...
