I'd rather be notified of when an elf farts

In the same thread someone else mentioned an add-on called BytheNine which allows you to block those notifications. So far, it seems to work beautifully for me.

No, wood elf are meat eaters, their's would smell of gravy.
High Elf's (altmer) would smell of musty books.
Dunmer Flatus might smell of wood chips, singed wood chips though.
Dwemer's would smell of oil.
Falmer (betrayed) Farts would smell of rotting vegetation, wereas unbetrayed Falmer wind would smell of glaciers and sunlight.
And Orcs (Orisimer) farts would kill all life within a three mile radius.

Or I could just me making it all up....... Nah!.

Nord farts cause the end of the world. That's why beans and sauerkraut are banned in Skyrim :P

I have to agree with this thread. It's incredibly annoying. I honestly DO NOT CARE who has completed a trial. It makes zero difference to me. The fact that you have to get a 2cnd party addon to block it just makes it that much more ridiculous.

Just another small thing that makes this game less than it could be.

Yeah it seems to me this should be an easy decision just have a check box under game settings to toggle it off.

This also touches on why I do not like guilds in this game...Guilds are supposed to be groups of like players who enjoy playing together... in every MMO I have played before I knew every single member of my guild well... in this game its like you just associate with piles of strangers for guild stores and stupidity ... I prefer 1 guild of friends and a damn auction house!

With all due respect, that has nothing to do with the topic of this thread. There are countless other threads debating auction houses. This thread is about not having the option to disable Trial completion notifications.

Agreed not to mention auction houses destroy economies, this was a great call on Z's part and glad they stuck by their guns, which is another reason I have hope for the longevity of the game and hold out hope that soon they will make an option to NOT be notified of when elfs fart... oh wait.

The idea would have be really good if you only could be in ONE guild but fact is when are in more them one guild that notifications is really really pointless for you end up go to guild page and see which one that login to which guild
