Defeating Mannimarco

Hey everyone!

I have a very big problem. I can't defeat Mannimarco. I've tried for so many hours with different weapons but I just can't seem to defeat him and it makes me sooo so mad!

At first, before update 5, I thought I'd just leave him be and then come back to kick his ass when I became vet. But as you probably figured, update 5 ruined it for me.

I decided to publish it on the forum to see if anyone have any solutions or any tactics I haven't thought about.

Which class are you using? Tips and tactics require that information
He's usually tougher to take down than regular bosses. Self-healing, potions and food buff always help. Kill the ghosts quickly.

It's a tough fight. I have beat it 4 times. One on each class, so it is doable by any of them. You need an aoe, a heal, and select the class ult that is an aoe damage/heal. Each and every class has all these abilities available by the time you reach him. Also make sure to run at least one ability that charges ult quickly. If you don't/haven't raised those abilities then you need to go out and get them. I am not going to give you a class by class breakdown of what to use, there are tons of posts about builds already.

I'm a nightblade on this one. I didn't think about that information being needed.. heh

Anyways, I have raised those abilites but then I'll read a bit about builds. I prefer using bow and arrow but I've found that it's not the ideal weapon against him...

I had a hard time with that, too, until I changed one single thing—I added a self-heal (this was on my NB). With that, and some perseverance, it's entirely doable.

Gyudan

NB Bow won't be easy, that's how I killed him the 1st time back in April and it took me many attempts.
Try Strife for self-heal and craft some good potions to help during the fight, as well as blue food with health+stamina.
Kill the ghosts ASAP and keep dodging his attacks as much as possible. The fight will probably take a while but you should be able to complete it.

I've only gone against him once but will be going against him again soon. Just waiting for them to fix the bug that won't let you finish this particular quest. The one time I fought him was with my DK and I went in with a bow and restoration staff. It wasn't an easy fight but having my restro staff saved my life.

Thank you guys! I'll try out all of your suggsetions and tips. I'll level up some healing skills before I try to take him on again.
