Bad ideas -- one should NOT change those! If we start changing aspects like that at will, then it becomes pointless. We have 8 char slots and we can make alts.

That can be bad for the RP players in the game -- since their game play style is based on a char name, how they look like and what fraction they are in.

So I vote -- NO! NO! and NO!

"Character recustomization service" would be awesome since my first character ("Raygee") really doesn't look like I wanted her to. It always looks a bit different in-game than in the character creation window anyways, but I missed some things to change before pressing OK (or "create" or whatever the button says). The eyebrows look like caterpillars, and she also looks like being pregnant, which is not supposed to be like this.

In game Barber shops would be cool for character customization. But name and faction changes? Nah.. that's just going to far, breaks too many RPG elements.

I'm just curious how what *another* player may/may not do to their own toon effects an RP player. I mean, if I change my hair and its "gamebreaking" for someone, maybe they need the sort of help ESO just can't offer. I'm not trying to be an skeevers bum abt it, but really???


To the OP:
I do wish they would rush the barbershop features. You can change your account name at least by sending a ticket (my husband just did this). Faction change....well I wouldn't be against a one time only feature... there are a few reasons one may want this

They started in (enter zone) and joined a mutli faction guild, except the people they talk to most happens to be a diff faction, so this Vet level toon they spent however much time on is useless to them and they can't play with the in-game friends without boringly grinding out another (made harder by ESO now)

They don't pvp, and simply don't like the zone, or in reverse they don't "live" in the game via RP and simply don't what to throw away the effort they put it.

I know it comes as a terrible shock to some that not every player enjoys the leveling process and may realize they made a mistake in the beginning but don't want to repeat months of play.....so again, a one time only feature may benefit some.

I don't think a one time betrayer quest line to change factions is a bad thing but not the point of the OP.
