Crafting Writ Survey Report Locations

Hi everyone, just realized after looking around that there's not too much information on exact locations of the new crafting writ survey reports. Here are the spots that have been found so far, with their coordinates (need to use a coordinate addon like Map Coordinates). All of these are slowly being added to the Lost Treasure addon, which can be found here, but the list is a work in progress while we pool our resources together and share all of the locations we find. It's definitely my pleasure, and thanks for the input! The Lost Treasure addon was updated today and now includes the survey reports that have been foudn so far so please keep the updates coming when you run into one that isn't recognized by the addon. Thanks again!

I'll add that this comment thread was what finally got me to drop my No Addons stance and finally start using an add ons with Lost Treasures (and Map Coordinates) -- Nice add-on, BTW -- I especially appreciate the mini version of treasure maps in the main view. I'm doing a lot of crafting writs with my low levels (they're great money *especially* at low levels), and will definitely post more updates here when and if I find things, as I have several Survey maps without locations in this thread yet.

I doubt it. I would say that I enjoy "having found" them, or rather I am satisfied in doing so... the searching itself can be a bit of a pain sometimes due to the nature of the maps.

On the other hand there are people who have neither the time or the inclination to do so, or to enjoy doing so, and so this thread is for them. I am not about the decry them. I may even submit some of the locations that I have found that are missing.

I have tried to do it by searching, trying to find a landmark on the main map which fits the one on the survey report, but I just can't recognise it (the one in Reaper's March, that is). Not sure if there's only one location, but if someone could give me a hint as to the general area to search in, I would be really grateful.

I have my level 18 NB, level 46/50 Enchanter/Alchemist, going to Coldharbour, for my writs, as well as my level 22 Sorc, level 48 Blacksmith.

I really love being way under the level, and still digging out my goodies. My NB is doing several Coldharbour missions, just for fun.

My VR9 Vampire Witch can go most anywhere and kill most anything and it's a nice change. She burns down those wasps everyone complains about in Craglorn, she is a 50 Wood and Clothing crafter, it's more fun that way. A hint, wasps like flame, they hate frost.

I know that my poor VR3 Dunmeri Sorcerer is has been killed by the wasps next to the Craglorn Enchanter's Survey (III) on no less than 3 occasions. I find it mildly disgruntling, but attempting to see if I could sneak past one, or draw them away and take them on one-by-one is all part of an enjoyable challenge. The moment when I can finally pick up all of the materials that the survey actually entitles me to will be even sweeter.

That said, I don't use this thread for map locations. I probably never will. I have, however, downloaded a coordinates add-on and will probably start submitting locations (in Deshaan and Shadowfen for example), in the next day or so, to help the people who don't want to/can't spend the time I did hunting them down.

You can take a high critical build, Mage Light, Critical Surge, Elemental Rings and a Frost Staff and go stand in the wasps, the 5000 ones, not the wussy 3500 ones. Hardened Ward is nice, but it's your return on Critical Surge that keeps you alive. The Fire Staff just makes em' meaner, the Frost Staff really slows em' down a lot, and that is enough to let you hold the upper hand.

You can do ridiculous, over your head quests, by being extremely sneaky and doing creative fleeing, when needed. I stealthed Elinhar in Craglorn at VR3 and by creative waiting around, for people, I got the quest done. Against all odds in that case.

Well, if the coords >Enchanter Survey: Repear's March (32.97x73.69)< are right, then look in the square between Do'Krin Monastery, Thormar, Moonmount Shrine and Willowgrove.
I hope that's what you call a "general area"

Spoiler is hiding a more accurate area:

the spot will be a few steps south/southeast next to the "Broken Arch" crafting station.

Haven't reached reapers march yet, so i can't check...

Anyway coordinate add on IS totally worth it and I'm surprised that wasn't a default thing in the game. It's been around since my old EQ 1 days. It's nothing extraordinary. >.>
