Please fix the LFG tool already!!!

We certainly understand that this issue is frustrating. Please note that this patch note fixed "an" issue with the LFG tool. There are other issues that are still in the process of being resolved. The effectiveness of the tool should be improved after the patch, but we recognize that there is still work to be done. Thanks for your patience!

My thoughts run towards the concern that people simply do not use the tool, in addition to any problems that might exist with the tool. I suspect that many people simply do not know that the tool exists and think they have to have 3 friends or they cannot do it.

Obviously, you have metrics on your end that answer that, but I don't, so here are my suggestions to increase tool usage.

The first time you come across a group dungeon, you do get a detailed tip on how to invite a friend, but the tip does not mention the grouping tool. You might want to consider changing the tutorial to include this information.

You may also want to create an optional tutorial quest that requires that the player use the grouping tools to enter an optional quest instance in Glenumbra, Auridon, and Stonefalls to complete a simple group quest. I would suggest that this group be completely open to all roles in any quantity from the list of players on this quest. To that end, I also suggest simple 2-person groups for this instead of the 4 person groups that would be typical.

I first run across the dungeons due to map markers and rarely go to them by name. You might want to consider an in-world "announcement board" outside the entrance to these that bring up the LFG when selected. The hover tip for this would be clear that 'E' opens the LFG tool. The purpose of this is simply to remind people that the tool exists and make it easy to queue for THAT dungeon. Of course, that dungeon would be a pre-filled suggestion that could be changed.

I dont know how many that use the lfg tool, but when it was working, I always found a group fast atleast, so for me it did its job. but I do agree, for new players it would be great if the lfg tool was more easy to find, tbh, I found it by accident around lvl 25 on my first char, so I like your ideas to improve it.

and the reason I was irritated when the patch notes said it it was fixed,when it was not, is the fact that I have never seen it stated anywere that there are several issues with the lfg, all I have seen is " we are aware of the problem" or " A fix for the LFG tool is a high priority" nothing about that there are lots of issues with it. plus ofc, that it has taken over a month for a fix, that didnt really fix anything, since I can spend all day in the tool, with all dungeons marked, and not find a single person, and now when its stated that there are several problems with it, Im even more sceptic that it will ever get fixed.

You said it was "fixed" and "improved", but it still doesn't work. I have been trying to find a group using this tool while i'm questing and i can never find a group.

took a hiatus and come back and have been unable to get a group for dungeons via the LFG tool....

3 days - 10 hours at least, no group at all.

Except in Craglorn where you can't do a damn thing without a group. Make up your minds ZoS!
