Forgive me, this CS sub-forum seems the best fit considering the other options.

Question:

1) I'm signed in, my language (English) is selected, yet I see multiple French and German threads. If I click on them Google is smart enough to know they're not in English and asks if I want the text translated. Thank you, Google... Why am I seeing other languages even after making sure English is selected?

Because their forum design is currently horrible. That's just how it works.

Don't worry, they are in the process of a major revamp. Should be much better in the future.

the same reason that when you look at the forums on a mobile device it is completely broken, and that reason is reasons.

Ah. So it really is that simple: the forums are handled by the dev's, too.

The forums are functional. But, sorely lacking in features that are common to most other forums. Sound familiar?

Time for ZOS to release a forum API, and we can get to work on forum add-on's?

@Divinius is pretty on point, and we anticipate a major forum overhaul in the near future. AlanG has an excellent post highlighting some of the incoming changes in this comment. One of our priorities for the overhaul is to improve language support, so we appreciate the feedback!
