It was bad enough that you would complete silver and gold and get a lousy blue item at the end. But now, if you are a serious pvper you won't even get exp or drops in silver or gold because of the fact that ZoS decided that we kindly didn't need the experience because chances are, if you are either a serious pvp player or even just someone that wants to earn the emperor achievement you will out level the silver and gold content extremely quickly unless you push off the pvp till after completing all the pve content.
As of today, my main is just shy of vet 7 and is barely into silver. All the mobs I face in silver are vet 2. This means even if I were to stop pvping today, giving up any chance I have at earning the emperor achievement, I will still reach the point I am no longer earning experience in silver long before I finish this zone.
This comes after the scaling of all the "main" quests which made all of the main quests extremely tedious after the first char or two since you can no longer just save them till the end and then kill an afternoon blowing through them and rescaling all the vet dungeons to take them from challenging to frustratingly ridiculous. In addition it seems you can no have the option to skip the tutorial for new chars.
These changes have become game breakers for me and several of my friends. A game should be fun, not extremely tedious.
Changes I would like to see implemented:
1) Allow players that have more than two vet level chars to skip at least the mage and fighters guild quests on subsequent chars if they so choose.
2) Bring back the option to skip the tutorial
3) Remove the exp block on killing mobs 4 ranks below you or at least scale it so you never earn less than 25%.
4) Adjust the veteran dungeons so they are no longer frustrating for those that do not have all trial gear and the ability to play 80 hours a week to hone their skills and equipment.
Me: "Okay lets run to Alessia. Mount up and follow me!"
Me five seconds later: "Um yeah... totally forgot about that cliff..."
