Maintenance for the week of March 3:
• PC/Mac: No maintenance – March 3
• ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – March 4, 6:00AM EST (11:00 UTC) - 4:00PM EST (21:00 UTC)
• NA megaservers for maintenance – March 5, 4:00AM EST (9:00 UTC) - 11:00AM EST (16:00 UTC)
• EU megaservers for maintenance – March 5, 9:00 UTC (4:00AM EST) - 16:00 UTC (11:00AM EST)
First, please ensure that the update installed by checking for updates from the launcher. To do this, close the game and open the launcher. Select Game Options, which is located just above the News section, and then choose Check for Updates.
If the issue persists, we ask that you use the Repair option, which is in the exact same drop down menu. If that doesn't help, let us know and we'll be happy to continue assisting you!
not sure why my network setting would effect the game launcher let alone being able to login, seeing as they have not changed since the last time I was able to play (this morning 9:15am). Even so, I tried the fixes you linked but to no avail. Thankfully I always keep backups, so I am now having to update my backup ESO folder (from 19/10/14).
@Jopp wish I could have got to the 'repair' option........
