Error 303 during installation

    edit: i tried to delete all,again downloading, i even try your metod to cancel updating click repair and i got this message...

    Same error message for me as well.
    The launcher downloads about 2x%, I get a 303 error message. If I try to repair at any point I get the error shown above, otherwise it starts the entire installation process over again.

    Right now I have a clean system for the game, I have removed all previous files, addons, settings etc.

    Everytime it breaks up after downloading the ~5,2 gb and says, click repair,
    It trys to download 0,46mb and the same error as shown before appears.

    Hope it will be fixed soon. Bought the game 5 hours ago and i just wanna play :wink::neutral_face:

    What i tried until now:
    - deinstalled it and installed it on an different partition /failed
    - started the launcher as an administrator /failed
    - tried the "trick" posted above, endet in the repair-fail-message

    You're obviously incompetent. In 20 years of playing MMOs I've never seen a company releasing a patch that breaks not only the ability to play the game but also the possibility of any potential customers installing their game. Keep in mind that the patience of your customers has a limit and you are reaching that limit pretty fast. If you continue to show that level of incompetence the financial results won't be late.

    i tried to open Bethesda.net_Launcher.exe to see if there is maybe somewhere mistake or somethin' but of course its password protected .... So we are waiting 10101210 days to fix this

    It's a problem with the Zip file in Depot, there's nothing we personally can do about this.

    y, i wanted to use file from NA servers on this EU to avoid this error but cant, their depot is corrupted, problem is on their servers. As i was reading on this forum they had already similliar problem with this(9 November,they posted fix but now is again problem)... so where is damned fix

    Yep, it's completely ridiculous.. This is literally more than a full day of paying washed away. >.>

    It's not exactly a good first impression if your new customers can't even install their newly bought game, or already-customers can't patch it and get on there. One day's worth of sub washed down the drain :/

    It's so annoying that not a single thing works, it's really up to the devs to fix this..

    Oh I fully agree @Wolfess and please don't think I am trying to defend how terrible this is. I would hope they offer some kind of compensation for it, although I am not sure how they would track who had legitimate issues and who didn't.

    @Turelus‌ Oh no no, I didn't think that :) It'd be great if they'd be able to .. I don't know, give a free day, or 2, in subscription or some fun in game item but as you say, it's not really easy or doable to figure out who actually had problems.. :/

    They have been pretty good with giving some complimentary time in the past. We had some during early access / first month because of the downtimes suffered as well as a few people getting some from a PVP bug which was suffered. Once it's all fixed might be worth sending their support team a polite message asking about it.

    The worst thing is that CS is silent. So:
    1. They don't know what to do and how to fix it.
    2. They don't care.

    I can not remember the last time I bought or downloaded a software that didnt install on a windows system. That fact leads me to believe that this should be realy simpel to controle?

    Playing other games in the meentime. Devs plz post here when you have fixed your installer so we can do other things with our time instead of trying at our end.

    CS answered to me - reinstall launcher (doesn't helped to me). Anyway, it's better than nothing.

    I'm starting to wonder if the devs even -read- this thread?

    There are TONS of players who can't install the game. You're making an absolutely bàd first impression on people, like myself, who bought the game yesterday afternoon and haven't been able to play it yet, just been stressed out over how it simply won't install.

    Please stop answering with completely irrelevant fixes, I can assure you everyone here has tried re-installing or repairing

    Reinstalling does nothing because the entire EU update branch is broken at the moment.

    Instead of downloading the game (as a fresh install is supposed to do) it will only donwload the latest patch (5GB) and nothing else. This will then lead to the invalid memory size error being thrown in a loop.

    It will not work because it's the EU update branch that's broken. Not even a fresh install will work.

    I resubbed two days ago after 5 months.
    Figured the game would be issue free to play 7 months after release.

    And now I can't even install it lol...

    I reckon this might be my shortest re-sub ever.

    Well I was billed for 3 months to february, 1-2 days before sunday and the begining of this debacle. Unsubbing at this point doesnt give anything realy. Since I figure it wont take 3 months for Zenimax to fix this.
