What is that noise?

since update 5 I've been hearing a loud hissing noise while in Cyrodil battles.
I'm assuming it's a new sound effect that's been added to an ability but I'm not sure which one.
The noise is really loud and sounds like an underwater rattle snake or something and sometimes it lasts for an unusually long period.
Does anyone know what is causing it? is it intentional? can it please be removed?

That's the sound of your girlfriends jealousy over a video game.

The only solution is spending mass amounts of real life currency on sparkling gems you would normally find while mining.

Apologies and begging for forgiveness sometimes helps too.

As a last resort you can also turn of the game and ask her how her day was. She won't quit talking for the next 12 hours. This is however normal. Once done she will tire herself out and fall asleep taking up the entire bed. Since you have no where to sleep it then frees you up to play ESO all night.

i believe its lethal arrow from the 6012 new pugs who picked up a bow so they could insta kill people

Unless you are referring to wide-eyed puppies with bows, I think the acronym you are looking for is FotM.

PuG = Pick-up Group; An unplanned group made on the fly.

FotM = Flaver of the Month; Player who uses a skill/build that is considered the best for that reason alone.

Not sure what it is or if it is intentional, but yes, it needs to go. It's worse if you are playing with headphones/earbuds.

Yes, I suspect it is crushing shock but some times the noise plays for 4-5 seconds which made me think it might be soul assault.

Definitely not the arrow sound, that is softer and ends with a small thud sound of the arrow hitting, this sound is much louder and has more of a magicka feel to it.

I get this with crushing shock as well. I actually like it as it gives me a better sound confirmation for when the spell casts than the old sound alone. I play with headphones and it doesn't bother me in the least.
