Personally, I always interpret it as a compliment! Yep, that's right. And if you disagree, well........better not press the LOL button because it won't get your message across to me :P

I made this poll out of a genuine interest on seeing the consensus. I know some people said "dead horse" but... has there really already been such a poll? Didn't see it. And who would ever want to bait for "lols"? Is there any benefit?
I've found the discussion and votes to be very interesting myself. I often hesitate to click LOL to on a post for fear of making the poster think I found his post amusing.

✭Considering the fiasco with these buttons since beta and the way most people seem to be using them around here, I opted a long time back to click "awesome" whenever I find something is genuinely funny and makes me laugh.
