Receiving MINUS Veteran Experience Points

Need some clarification here ZOS. I accepted a Crafting Blacksmithing Writ to complete (2) Voidstone Great Swords, (2) Voidstone Sabatons and (2) Voidstone Gauntlets. I completed the task and turned them into the agent in Belkerth.
For my efforts the blurb that showed up on my screen was -400 Veteran Experience Points. Whats up with this?

Another incident I was in Rivenspire collecting ShadowHide from Tigers. Everytime I killed a Tiger for the ShadowHide I was docked -9 Veteran experience points. Then turned around and killed a group of three Rats for the ShadowHide drop and received +12 experience points.

Very confusing when sometimes you get a + in experience points and other times a - in experience points. How is a player going to level up if he or she is docked experience points.

Are you using an add on? Cause you shouldn't get any vet points but should be getting XP. Although add ons still say Vet Points. I noticed it on FTC add on. I didn't like the add on so disabled it.

Yes, every so often FTC will show the wrong number or make it negative when it comes to XP or AP, and that add-on hasn't been updated since mid-September so the gains for vet characters wouldn't have been retitled.

OP, if you're seeing Veteran Points anywhere in game, that must be from an addon since they no longer exist.

Try using LootDrop, it's up to date for 1.5 and shows accurate XP gains

This is an addon problem (since you can't really see how much experience you get on normal UI without addons). Either disable or get another add on that will illustrate the right amount of exp.
