Alchemy crafting writ bug possibly?

I acquired all of my crafting writs last night, and was able to finish all of them except Alchemy.
I was asked to create a sip of health, and acquire 3 wormwood. So I created my sip of health, and got credit for it, but the wormwood in my bag did not register as credit. So, I logged on another of my characters to transfer another 3 wormwood to my character that needed it for the writ. But the new wormwood did not receive credit in the quest. Then, I emptied all of the wormwood from my inventory, and transferred it to another one of my characters.
Now I went out to hunt wormwood. It took me about 40 minutes to finally find a wormwood exploring Auridon and then finally Greenshade. I picked up the wormwood, but did not receive credit. That was when I threw my hands up and went to bed in frustration.
It is now the morning for me, and I am reporting this bug. I hope this post is seen by the devs, and helps to fix a problem.

Did that work for you? I'm being asked to get nirnroot, and even harvesting some doesn't count for me.----
