Do you notice delays when receiving regular mail, or only when waiting for something bought from the Guild Store?
I've not noticed any issues with regular mail, just Guild Store stuff.

Both. It used to take 10 relogs to get regular mail now that is instant. Buying stuff used to take up to 30 minutes and require a full shutdown. Now sometimes I get it instantly and sometimes it takes a few minutes or a relog. It's really random though.

Gotcha. So it seems this affects receiving mail overall, not just Guild Store items. I guess it's just an overall issue with the mail system as it is now. Hopefully it'll be improved over time.
Nope, frequently does not work, relog or change zone seem to be the only reliable way to get mail, this is another of those things ZOS need to fix, but probably never will!

Odd that it affects different users differently.
If I travel to a zone, buy something from a guild trader and then open the mail screen the mail will hit, if I then (in the same zone) buy something else from a guild trader and open the mail screen I get nada and have to travel to another zone before that mail will hit.
It ain't a game breaker obviously but it is a nuisance when you've bought crafting mats and want to head to a particular crafting station in that zone.

1. Type /reloadui in the Chat Box to reset your UI
2. Open your map by pressing [M], then teleport yourself to a wayshrine
3. Perform a soft reset: log out to your desktop, exit the ESO launcher, and wait for 15 minutes before logging back in.

Thanks for the response @ZOS_AlvinM
These steps definitely do work, but as mentioned above we're all a bit more curious as to why it is necessary to perform these steps in order to get things going. As long as you guys are aware of the issue and looking into it, that's great.
Should we be submitting feedback or a bug report in game each time this happens to help with tracking the issue?
Why bother responding at all if you're just going to reiterate what we are already doing and not address whether ZOS has any plan to correct this. Less than useless, it's somewhat insulting.ZOS_AlvinM wrote: »Hi everyone. We value your feedback and will be looking into this issue. The whole "buying from a guild store" system needs to be reworked. Sending guild store purchases via email looks like a really kludgy solution .....

Here are the positives to this. You can buy something and not have to worry about your bag being full. You can also use a richer alt to buy for another one and not have to use the bank as an intermediary. The other issue is, you can put up to 30 items in each Guild Store, and be in 5 guilds, so that is 150 items. Once the 30 days is up, then the item is returned to you, so this way you don't get your bag filled up by canceled or timed out items.
So, it's a decent system in that it does not cause some other issues. I understand that some other MMO's do the email thing too.
It's just that for some folks the emails are slow.
