I tried to help save Alessia before EP was crowned, as well. After nobody else left the outpost to prevent a crowning, it was pretty apparent that we were stuck there until it was over, so I waited it out. They can play the "we won because we kept you busy" card all they want, but we know how badly they wanted the offense tick, and they didn't get it even after a final, massive push with coordinated troll camps. Troll camp goes up, impulse ball goes in. Don't think we didn't notice.

Maybe you should take a look at your own faction for the troll camps.

A lot of AD players were really pissed at DiE and Venatus for sitting at sejanus for 12 hours. You guys gave up every single keep, both scrolls, for 50k ap?

Would it be so wild to theorize, that maybe people of your own faction wanted you guys to lose that outpost so you guys could begin reclaiming all the keeps in that pvdoor fashion you do every night?

Also, claiming all the guilds other than DiE and Venatus are useless, is a little rude. I don't think those two guilds would do so well without all the AD population support.

Yes, alot of AD was really pissed, but in defense of Venatus, they left sej to defend fare, wiped blue, returned to sej, part of them then went to defend scroll. they didnt sith there all night just waiting around. As for DiE, i dont think most of them were even on while most of the map was being lost. Regardless i had a blast at sej, it was some helms deep stuff. thanks for the good times DC and EP. we need fights like that every now and then to change the "defend here, blood port to defend over there etc etc" all night long.

There were plenty of ad pissed off that most likely would've happily troll camped their own faction.

Heck I don't even think DiE was present at Sej till the wee hours of the night but anyways. Every night most, if not ALL, PvP guilds in EVERY alliance blaze a trail around the campaign map putting out brush fires started by the opposition. Acting as a bulwark against the opposing alliances' best PvP guilds. Starting up new brush fires for the other alliance to deal with. Flipping all resources at a keep to isolate it from transit. Doing a 20/20 or 50/50 without dropping an FC or flipping resources. Paving the way for the alliance to push on a scroll. Helping thwart an opposing alliance's push for Emperor. So maybe for once a guild or heck alliance players decide to do something CRAZY like defend an outpost their alliance held at the time, which we all know this is how it all started.

Hov you would be a liar to say No Mercy doesn't decide to do something on its own from time to time? Perhaps something that many would interpret as detrimental to the alliance that I'm sure pissed off some DC players and yet you did it. Heck I know I have fought and even died at many No Mercy infamous resource tower oil farms or Alessia Bridge when there were more pressing matters for DC on the map. Go ahead and try the stir up the pot with your comments about what AD was thinking because you were privy to whispers in-game from AD players. We all get whispers from the opposition at times and I will leave it at that. But then again this thread isn't about alliance politics it was about the mechanics, or lack thereof, offensive and defensive ticks and I think we can all agree it needs to change in some way shape for form. Too often many lose out on ticks to help secure a keep because it is in the best interests of the keep. Too often ticks take too long to register or is extended because one player ran into another on the periphery of the keep. Whether or not Zos will change it and anytime soon is unlikely.

All I was saying is, a lot of people were pissed at your sej farmers and that AD should not be blaming DC for the troll camping.

No Mercy has definitely been a part of many ap farms and will continue to do so. The difference is, if any emp keep is getting smashed or a scroll keep about to be lost, we will give up our ap to defend.

I'm not saying any of the AD are wrong in their decision to stay at sej for 12 hours waiting for that 50k tick.

I'm saying it's wrong to point fingers at blue for a troll camp, when AD clearly had many many people upset with the sej farmers. There's some serious probable cause

The Wall of Elements "exploit" is likely a damage display error. Never has my damage meter reported anything other than the normal 130-140ish ticks; I often stack the wall . It's decent damage, but Fire Ring is better. It's the ulti gen that makes it attractive.

Every chance MOST of the AD gets on these forums it comes down to "so what we got rolled, we dont care about AP we are in it to crush Blue/Red" because you constantly get destroyed by groups you outnumber 3-1 and then hope you wake up to all the oceanic players work(no hate, who am i to tell you not to log on during your free time?) of turning the map back yellow or at least keeping you in the lead.

Instead of this you guys wasted 12 hours for 50k? 50k of what, maybe 150 earned total all night? Now im sure some of yall actually enjoyed it and power to them, but if you sat around for the "principle" of the work you put in fine. But dont ever profess to be a team player part of the "dominion greater good" or whatever circle jerk thing you guys have going on.

Next time, stop caring so much and you wont come off looking like a bunch of morons because you got played like a fiddle by a bakers dozen for 12 hours with a few sporadic bursts of action lol.

Next time, loosen up, and stop taking a video game so seriously. I made almost 500k ap roaming around having fun and trying to burn people down in a sea of players while doing work emails lol, the fact that there were dozens of AD fuming angry only makes it that much better.

sucks, because you have the AD talent on one end, the guys just trying to have fun on the other and they get it ruined for them by a bunch of try hard nobodies who dont take this game seriously enough to l2p, but take it seriously enough that they let it actually negatively affect their real lives.

Sorry you must have me mistaken for the typical MMO player or a big part of some AD elite guild. No, I am a regular joe, first mmo game ever, and I have more time played with EP than AD and more time playing solo than with a guild in pvp. I have before yesterday, 0 forum posts. So in a nutshell you brought out the regular folk to complain about last night and all the exploits. Still find my post funny? I don't care what he or she did last month or six months ago, it never went as far no matter what it was as last night did. I quit ESO pvp last night, and in the sense that it's a complete joke and I won't waste my time like that again. As I said before, keep up the good work and perhaps people like you, no matter what faction, will be left to play against each other all night. Now to Arma 3 for me....where at least when I get cheated I get to ban the dudes.

And im still waiting to hear what "exploits" you saw in play. I admit the wall of elements thing through me for a loop myself the first time I saw it, then realized after looking at my damage log that all that happened was it included the damage over 1-2 minutes and rolled it all into 1 attack for the death recap.

Im a normal dude, I work 2 jobs, try and go to the gym, pay biills etc. I never signed up for the forum until today myself.

So this post pretty much brought out the nerd ragers. This is only my second MMO but I imagine your also probably a bad that yells into the mic in arma about hackers because your not sure how you died.

and to be fair, if we needed anyone to quit PvP its the AD. I would rather you just play your EP more in cry-o-dil but leaving works as well.

Amazing job ZOS. This group spends the entire night exploiting pvp and then they walk right up in the forums and just brag about it. Maybe your friend should post screen shots of his talents of troll camps. The one over the ledge where you had to kill yourself to get out of was a really fun one...and the one in the water..what a laugher. Guess if I wanna really play pvp, im going to need to level a DC character up and become as lame as these dudes. No, I know. I'll just play one of the 250,000 other available games to me. Ha what an idea!

No mercy was there for 12 hours, probably made 20+ pushes.

How many troll camps did you see all night/day.

Funny you are convinced it was us, why didnt we just do it when we had 8 and had about 150+ kills and died as we were flipping both flags, that tick probably would of been bigger than what you got with 100+ people there.

If we want to farm AP we dont attack, anyone over the rank of tyro can see the points for the most part are in the defense.

Sorry I realize math seems to not be a strong point for people in this game given other stuff I have seen, so let me help you out. We got 50k AP, and we had AT LEAST 50 players there, considering that AD was locked and we had 0 keeps on the entire map and were attacking nothing when the tick went off. So at a minimum, 50k x 50 is at least 2.5 million AP. Im sorry the avg tick per person wasn't larger due to DC themselves eating in on the average, and the fact that suicides prolonged the tick, for which the majority of the tick pool had accumulated before, and thus allowed for the entire AD faction getting 50k AP. It was and will be the largest overall tick on this game ever. If the suicides hadn't went on at 3 am, the tick would have likely been around 100-150k per person because we had just a few people defending at that point, because most were still defending scrolls, keeps etc. And if we would have left? 10 DC players would have gotten a stupid tick. So really save it. And that should tell everyone all you need to know. AD got at least a 2.5 million tick between them...and a lot of people were pissed..that means we won what we fought for, got 2.5 mill, and were pissed about that because pvp was ruined last night and the entire game was brought to a halt by a tiny POS guild that ruined their names in this community IMO.

You are mad, that you stayed at a keep to get a la plrge tick, which when you put in time spent working towards it was total crap, yet you are happy that you got the tick?

Im so confused right now, I have no idea how anyone forced you to stay at sejanus for a second more than you wanted to. In between dying I earned 489k AP and my faction passed yours on the score board because you were too selfish to put the factions needs above your own.

Look if you want to play on the AD, dont care about AP and want to win every faction go for it, no one is stopping you. but sitting around dancing in your underwear for 12 hours was for yourself, yourself only. Every single player who sat there, who half went to sleep or even macro'd to stay logged in did nothing for the team. They did it for their own selfish reasons. Thats totally fine, I dont pay your sub, play as you please.

But please dont tell me about how you did this and earned that and had your night "ruined" because of us. dozens of other AD players stayed and fought outnumbered to defend everything and ultimately lost it all because the majority of the people showed that they really want AP, personal renown. They dont want to win the campaign, they want to achieve status and the campaign takes the hit because of them.

Im going to say this again, no one exploited, im sorry you got troll camped, im sorry you were miserable, next time you are not having fun do what I do, log off, go to the gym, have a beer whatever. But the amount of anger you posses only shows how the cognitive dissonance is just destroying you from the inside.

Sorry your night was ruined, maybe next time to dont take hook, line and sinker and come out trying to smell like a rose because of a very small amount of AP for time spent.


as for the game being brought to a halt, maybe in your myopic view sure, but i saw your scrolls taken, every last keep fell, and an enemy emperor was crowned and by your own choice you did nothing to stop it.

No sir, the action continued and the AP flowed, you just missed out on almost lal of it.

Amazing job ZOS. This group spends the entire night exploiting pvp and then they walk right up in the forums and just brag about it. Maybe your friend should post screen shots of his talents of troll camps. The one over the ledge where you had to kill yourself to get out of was a really fun one...and the one in the water..what a laugher. Guess if I wanna really play pvp, im going to need to level a DC character up and become as lame as these dudes. No, I know. I'll just play one of the 250,000 other available games to me. Ha what an idea!

If I were going to have an alt to troll camp, I would not name it"I am Aoe Barbecue" lol. While I may be a convenient target I assure you that no BBQ troll camps have ever been placed. Honestly, if it were me I'd be trolling people about it anyways.

Noone is ever leaving 2.5 million AP points for a scroll. Honestly it was prob more. It was an obvious exploit of the game mechanics to do nothing but troll a very large group of player's in the game by an extremely small group of players. The same people using AD losing their scrolls as an example of we should have left...are the same people that let their castles go also. Everyone besides EP was there. Such a joke to even have to have this conversation. I have not played, as well as some of the most active AD player's since that siege ended. And everytime I come in here and see justification for people using exploits is just another day that I prob won't play. So like I said 10 posts ago, play alone, because if you go look at the forums for alliance war, it is filled with complaints of exploits of different types and this is no different. So exploit yourselves to death, or exploit what is left of the community to death and you will be in a PvE situation in PvP. One server that matter's is all that's left. Keep it up, it's working great so far.

but meanwhile, the less you play, the more balanced the campaigns are. AD=dc/ep COMBINED. no one will miss you. and yes, the EP was there lol, they are the reason we wiped without a camp when you all finally got the tick. you should be thanking them.

A recurring comment that seems to be the reason behind your troll fest...make player's on AD quit the game lol. Your the third person I've had say this. And back to one of my previous comments...How are people that are intentionally trolling and exploiting game mechanics to make other's quit playing still allowed to play this game. If it was my game, like I said before, you woulda got the ban hammer 2 days ago and you should. I'm not responding to any more posts because we have came full circle twice now. So I guess when I come back to pvp we will have to take it easier on the little blue guy's so they don't ruin the game to make us quit playing. What a joke.
