Great Job ZOS!

I just read through the preliminary patch notes for Update 5, and I have to say one thing: The sheer number of fixes and improvements is astonishing.

Sure, we are all waiting eagerly for the Justice System, and yes, probably people will complain about individual aspects of Update 5. But these notes show that ZOS is hard at work at improving this game.

You are doing a great job!

I loved the game from the start and now it is even better. One year from now this game will be a sparkling jewel. Keep up the good work!

I totally agree, very good and very hard job!

I'm playing ESO since the beta and it's my favorite game, I've never touched any other game since it was mine ;)

Edit: And yes, of course there are some bugs in the game and we all wait for the things like championsystem and justice-system, BUT hey: Every other game has bugs too, so I just don't care about ;)

Nice to see some positive comments. All you normally see are the haters.

I've been playing MMORPGs since Ruins of Kunark in Everquest. Before that I played MUDs (CHAOSMUD!!). For those of you that don't know, imagine an MMORPG without the graphics and you have MUDs (Multi-User Dungeons).

Anyway, I like ESO and plan on continuing to play for awhile. I fell in love with Bethesda games with Morrowind (remember how high you could jump if you trained athletics?!?) and Oblivion and Skyrim have been excellent sequels. I am happy to support a company that makes a good product.

For all the haters, chill out. Either you're having fun or you're not. If you're having fun, chill out. If you're not, don't play and leave us alone.

Please dont mind the haters, they just don't know any better. Most of them still play and lurk on forums, tho the have been posting hateful posts for months. I believe its behavioural disorder rather than a true hate

One of the things that keeps me playing is the fact that ZOS developers continue to work on making the game better whether that's fixing bugs or creating new content.

Optimistic, but frankly I'll wait and see, every major patch has suffered from poor quality control and the "chiiill ooout" idea is all well and good but frankly ZOS doesn't have a decent track record with not breaking a fundamental aspect of of the game.

    Still optimistic.

Kinda not sure about the change to Death Stroke yet. I'll wait and see after I've tried it.

Honestly I don't see a way to release such a large update without breaking something along the way. If they break only little and fix it shortly after I am content.

Yeah despite so many gloom and doom forecasts devs are keeping this game on steady course of improvements and for that big thumbs up for them.
Even bigger thumbs up for not letting all those haters and moaners around to dishearten you.
    Keep up good job!

A little of this or a little of that, hell even the odd big one is fine, but we're not talking that. They can't keep totally borking the game for weeks.

    Still, optimistic.

Hello fellow MUDDER! Yep, there are more ESO players than you might think who first cut our teeth on MUDs before moving on to MMOs. Most folks I've met who enjoyed both MUDs and TES games are appreciating the job ZOS has done with ESO.

I've seen massive improvements in this game since I began playing in the summer of 2013 and I plan on playing ESO for quite some time.

    Keep it up ZOS!

They may not fix everything that needs to be fixed.

They may not fix everything that people think need to be fixed.

However, the do fix things and that is good.

I have done that before in Oblivion and I always went into Third Person as it was easier to guide the horse around. Note, until this game, I played TES games exclusively and only in First Person.

It would be nice to have a choice to stay in First Person, but I am not sure I would ever use it. Same with Swimming as it would be a head just above the water and seeing one arm flapping by. (because we side stroke more than free style swim in this game)

Really? I read the PTS notes and the release notes for 1.4 multiple times and I did not see a big difference, apart from some things that they tried out on PTS, saw it didn't work as intended and then dropped for the release.

Negative? More like the real world seemed to be coming to an end.

How about gameplay where you die, and your corpse has all your gear on it. (I mean, ALL of it) and in order to go get your gear, you have to go loot your corpse.

Many times the corpse was in a location that was insanely hard to get to.

Oh by the way, you had like 24 or 48 hours before your corpse just disappeared...

It was an insane system. Almost a permadeath system.

I remember people threatening to sue on the boards, real life death threats, etc.
