The radius for Impulse was reduced from 8m to 6m so that should slightly reduce the deadliness of some vampire players who spam that skill while swarming.

I don't know if I like this change. We've just been given night vision goggles that ONLY show vamps (as if the super white skin wasn't enough) Would you care to line the vamps up so you can just silver shard them too?

It would have been easier to just delete vampire from the game and apologize for the mistake of adding it.

They've literally enhanced a skill that places a glowy bullseye on Vamps butts.
Don't get me wrong, I use camo hunter on Vamps all the time but given the choice of of a random hit with camo hunter or a tool that allows me to see who the vamps are 100% of the time so I can silvershard them? I think the choice is obvious.

Isn't shards based on stamina now? Which means the highlighting matters to 10 players....

Just read through the patch notes. Overall they look pretty good.

Some things that were going to get the inevitable nerf took it --

Annulment received a 2nd Nerf
Impulse received a radius reduction

And numerous buffs to Stamina based weapon skill lines.

The change may very well decrease the amount of vampires, and thus ultimately reduce the power of fighter's guild abilities when fewer people exist to use them on, and as the powers of dark and Meridia cancel each other out, the meta could become more natural, and batswarming may become unique and awesome.

If that is ZOS's idea, then it seems a bit troublesoume to give that power to a single morph, though.

Vampires getting marked and all their names being listed among the hunters will make other tactics happen regardless of the silver bolt fix. Just most for some odd reason just silver bolt everything wearing any shade of black or red. Pretty sure some already keep lists, just will more effect those just testing out the stuff.

The change to evil hunter is going to be neato.

Great, maybe there will be some incentive now for DKs to use Reflective Scale. There sure aren't many DK vamps in Cyrodiil using that one.

So i guess its back to 1 handed shield and bow for me.

Yeap.. or hell....stack it with Duroks Bane as well...They also bloody buffed Crippling Slash as well..one of my primary damage abilities.

I'm still pissed about them nerfing 2 hander...But main reason I ran 2 hander was for healing debuff and 1 handed/shield gets it now....Going to be so nice.

Only thing that really sucks is where am I going to put Power Bash...I'm going to have to drop Defensive Stance for it..which makes me so sad.

Probably Scales, as my AE rotation involves Talons.

But damn, if single target focused DKs won't be able to pick one dude and make him really, really dead with those healing debuffs and now that Lava Whip will go straight through the Harness Magicka stacking shields.

I ended up testing on PTS, stamina builds are better...Esp 2 hander (though i'm trying to get them to revert the arcane fighter change)

The biggest thing is Snipe having a 1.1 Second cast time.....Massive Overbuff. They need change that back.

I can get off 3 Lethal Arrows before ya know what hit ya.

Yeah, I'd prefer they kept it a heavier hitting attack with a long cast time. Now it's just like crystal shards v2

Bow was also viable even before these buffs (1k DPS in trials), now it's going to be crazy :P
