You're asking people to not play this game because you and your friends are sleeping. To make it worse you are claiming that this is "for the greater good." That's pretty messed up, dude. You shouldn't try to dictate what times people can play, it's rude.
If you dislike it there are options for you take responsibility for creating your own enjoyment, rather than asking others to change for you. You can move to a different server, you can make an AD character and join them, you can find a different game, or you can just ignore them and have fun on your own.

You are so full of self righteousness, you have no idea what I've actually asked.
I want them to keep playing this game, but you know darn well and good that if they do not reroll, the PVP will die.
Why would ANYONE reroll to AD? It just exacerbates the issue. The fewer of the other factions there are and the more AD there, the less and less competitive PVP will get.
Make my own fun? Do it all the time, but people can make their own fun out of the game with any sort of medium.
You are essentially saying that if you don't like the fact that the game will be killed by the population imbalance, we should quit early or be stuck in a game where the only endgame is PVE as the PVP will be dead and buried.
All so you can feel good about your chooses.
Foolish. Dangerous. Terrible ideas.

I'll watch it burn before I reroll. Try advertising and bribery to win some Oceanic players.
WTB help to level my EP and DC alts. I will also be in need of a group!

Why?
If peeps want to play AD, let them play AD.
It's not like we're getting stomped over and over again.
You make it sound like there''s only AD online when you're all asleep. That's not the case my little one, certainly not.

If I lived in Australia I'd play the game during my prime-time, and not stay up until some obscene hour simply because that's when most Americans or Germans are playing.
I suppose Zenimax could create an Oceanic server and see if that helps. They may not have the population to justify it, though.
Moreover, to be honest, I suspect the problem is created largely by a minority of dedicated PvP Oceanic guilds that would play on American/EU servers anyway because of all the attention they get for doing it. If not for all of the attention they get from pissing people off, they would be bored out of their minds at doing this and would either re-roll or quit. I'm not saying they should have to do either, but I just don't see a way for anyone to fix this problem. As for the majority of Oceanic players, though, they would undoubtedly prefer an Oceanic server if the population is high enough.
Come now fair Agrippa, that would require some great deal of effort and intelligence our quite courteous caretakers clearly do not possess.Agrippa_Invisus wrote: »
There are all sorts of things that ZOS could do that don't involve a new megaserver. Things like --
Faction Transfers
Sliding Population Locks on the PVP servers (basically, always within +10 or so players of the other side)
Free Gear/Levels/XP Bonuses to rerolling characters into EP/DC
Bonus AP earned for low populations on PVP servers
