Due to complaints about the Ebonheart Pact using the underhanded war strategy known as "Night Capping" Grand Warlord Zimmeron has changed strategy and is now attempting a new strategy based on older war documents known as "Day Capping".

The initial push from Ebonheart Pact under this new strategy seems to have been successful so far. Grand Warlord Zimmeron fully expects both the Aldmeri Dominion and the Daggerfall Covenant to convert to this strategy soon in attempts to counter it, much like the former "Night Capping" tactics.

I think it's more on line that a number of people come to the forums looking for intellectual discussion and debate.
Instead they're greeted with (like most of the internet) people who feel that acting immature, trolling, provoking and winding up are better than interesting conversion.

I think the point Nermy was trying to make (and sorry to speak for you Nerm) is that no matter what people post on here to try and create a community for this campaign, a larger number of the AD population (seemly mostly SWAT) find that acting immature and chest beating is the way to go.

No, this was last night at about 12am ish (GMT). No idea what it's like now.... I'll find out tonight, although I anticipate little change unless we have a day-capping crew that actually knows how to work together without camps. From an EP point of view, there was more action in zone chat than on the map. ^^

I think you miss understand the complexities of my above post

The purple alliance is a good propaganda tool that AD have. It both encourages us to push ourselves because we are 'ganged up on' feeling like we have nothing to lose because if we do nothing red and blue will just attack us.
Equally it seemingly enrages certain members of the opposite faction which encourages rivalry and makes for a greater achievement when we overcome the alliance.
It's actually community building in itself. A shared joke brings people together and all that

This being said the purple alliance family dinners must be a bit boring without the humour AD brings

I actually have to congratulate them on their levels of organisation, skill, tactics and dedication. It's something every guild and faction should aspire towards.

However I have to say their immature behaviour, trolling and taunting is somewhat of a disappointment. They seem to be much akin to alliances like Goonswarm or TEST from EVE Online.

They are indeed a great operating group and I personally don't really care for their attitude. However, exploiting the hell out of a known bug with such a well-known guild is just beyond 'funny'. They disqualified themselves with such behaviour.

Also, it's an available in-game mechanic, it's not breaking existing mechanics to allow something which shouldn't be, so it's not really an exploit in the cheating sense, just ask ZOS support.
