Journey has been fun but destination a nightmare.

I am the guy who had the Molag Bal rant a few days back. This is an update on what I have done since.

I hope this isn’t seen as a rant but as one person’s experience and maybe a possible change by the developers to this Molag Bal event. I realize some of you can do this with your eyes closed, and one had behind your back but that is not the point. In life we are all good at different things and the ability to dodge and fight for 20 minutes against a computer opponent is not my strength.

Background: I am only a casual gamer, I have never played other Elder Scroll games although I had a go at Skyrim and couldn’t get into it. I have played LOTRO up to a Level 30 and Guild Wars 2 up to a level 50 but DID NOT enjoy those games like I have this one. I have really enjoyed the journey through this game but I hate the destination, this fight with Molag Bal.

Over the last few days I have gained a few more skill points ( at Cyrodiil tutorial and some shards) but since reaching V1 quests I now complete give me minimal experience and I am finding it impossible to level up more. So I have a restoration staff at Level 23 at least now and head back to Cold Harbour for round 2.

Well this time I haven’t even been able to reach Molag Bal. I meet up with my four companions and we head off towards Molag Bal but all the enemies we now reach are extremely difficult to get past without dying. I can’t remember it last time as this hard. From memory everything went down so easy but this time it is like the landing at Normandy. We have been killed half a dozen times and sent back to the wayshrine so I have not even been able to have a second go at Molag Bal.

My opinion is that in a MMO there should not be this unpleasant experience ( even for a minority) that will cause us to end the game. Presently I feel so different about the experience. Last week I was loving it and now it seems like a nightmare. Even playing on a lower level character is not as fun because I have this ahead of me again. It has taken all my motivation away to play this game.

Maybe this is seen as a cry but I feel so frustrated, upset and disappointed that the game will probably end for me here when I was having so much fun.
