EU Server Lag/Latency/Responsiveness - What's your Situation?

As I remember there was a massive thread on how much lag and issues there were for the Euro players, and how migrating the server to Europe was going to fix everything.
Maybe the issue isn't the server location, as I play from NZ and somehow don't lag, maybe the problem is Europe.
If the problem is not with the server, but with playing from Europe, then how is it possible that I (and many others) had no issues before the migration?
Tons of others from Europe did have issues - the thread was massive and the complaining about not being located in Europe was endless.

Have you tried playing on the US servers, just to compare and see if it's the location, or the game, or just some kind of issue with how your computer is configured vs this game.

Yes, but before the move it was simple lag plus some genuine bugs which have largely been corrected.
Now the problems are different and characterising them as lag is probably not accurate.

why?- client going out of sync with the server after playing for a while (have to close the game entirely to fix it)
- server unable to handle the current load causing lag spikes and rubberbanding
- interacting with npc's and objects is very unresponsive
- some abilities are a nightmare with light attack weaving (impulse especially) but generally a nightmare when the client goes out of sync
- connection keeps dropping out from "spamming keys"
- lots and lots and lots of ability delay
- lag anywhere you go, even in empty veteran zones
- the list goes on...

OK some of those are aspects specifically of desyncing. You can't interact with objects and NPC's while desynced. If you don't try to interact with objects during desync but were moving when it started you will be moved back to the point where it started (rubber banding).
Still they are all reasons why it's quite frustrating. What makes the frustration worse is if you report it and they come back advising you on how to "fix" your computer, even if you tell them that you don't need a reply that you're merely submitting data feedback.Oooh look, lot's of Butterflies! Rodario✭✭✭✭✭I had no lag issues before the migration but I have them now68% of the EU players that participated in this poll have lag/unresponsiveness issues. For most of them, these issues only started after the server migration. Some posts on the forums suggest the problems got worse after recent patches.
Still, no official statement from ZOS.
I, for one, have completely stopped playing in the evening and on weekends, effectively reducing my playtime to around 10% of what it once was.
I have forgiven this game all its little imperfections, the imbalances and bugs, as well as poor customer communication. Why? Because I had fun playing it. I just did. Well, it's not fun anymore. The constant lag during primetime and the lag spikes that frequently happen any time of day have made every task a frustrating chore. I am not unsubbing quite yet, by the way, but in another month I'll probably have had enough.
It doesn't matter if this poll's numbers are accurate, or if only 30, 20, or ten percent of EU players experience these problems, even that would be too many. Unless the people submitting tickets all have the same ISP in common, CS needs to stop telling people their ISP is the problem.
More imprortantly, ZOS need to stop trying to hush this up, and officially acknowledge this problem. Honestly, do they think if they never comment on the issue, players will go "Hmm, I thought there was a problem, but there's no official statement, so it must all be in our heads."?
If this problem is officially recognized and you (ZOS) let us know you're working on possible fixes, that might at least stall us for a while. Your current policy of silence, however, just leaves us thinking that you know about the problem, have no idea how to fix it, or simply don't care. And that means giving up on the game is the only choice left, as waiting for a fix seems pointless.

✭Other (Please explain)Well, I had minor lags before server migration ... but my abilities used to work fine. I have near to no lagging issues now (well, some lagging when new updates are introduced but they are removed fast so i will not nag), but my abilities bug out now and then.
