I'm must be of a minority then, as I'm faction proud!
AD in beta, AD first day of game release and right now today I have no intention of leaving AD.
The Ebonheart Pact is made up of stupid, drunk, wife beating nords and two faced Dark Elves that have a deep hatred of Nords after having them plunder their lands and women, and finally Lizards. Lizards for crying out loud!... Scum, all of you!
Daggerfall Covenant is no better, filled with Redguards that strongly resemble the desert people of star wars, and then there is the ugly, smelly orcs. Nothing else needed there, apart from Tamriel needs to be freed of such filth. And finally those stuck up, cheese eating surrender monkeys better known as Bretons that look like something from a Monty Python movie.
How could I possibly leave AD when I have such hatred for the other pacts.
For me it's the back story about the factions which makes made gravitate to a faction, (that and Kate Beckinsale hehehe) so why should I change that? That's what drew me in, as well as being a loyal customer of the existing elder scrolls franchise. And for me the faction sledging that is tongue and cheek on the forum and in game is, again for me a huge part of the attraction to the game... for me.
The answer, and a serious one at that is the health of the game, if it means keeping PvP alive then sure, I'd move but very begrudgingly. We shouldn't have to of course, players shouldn't feel the need to re-balance things themselves, ZOS should be putting in safeguards to help with faction numbers balancing.
The early days of wabba with the three equally (debatable I know) factions was fantastic, it would be nice to revisit that methinks.
P.S. I'm not really every going to change from AD, I'd rather see the game burn to hell than join up with EP and DC scum!
You altmer disgust me. Your arrogance knows no bounds! at least the khajit are funny!
