Cannot open linked items from Chat

Hey guys,

I've never been able to open a linked item from the Chat window. Am I missing something?

I don't try all that often, so I may have to troubleshoot a bit for more details. But basically when I click a linked item from Chat nothing happens at all.

    Sounds weird. Contact customer support? You may try to disable addons, or repair your game cilent.

    This happened to me before, and it was because of addons that were outdated.

    That makes sense, and is probably the case for me. Is there a quick way to update addons or do you have to just go and redownload the current versions?

    What site do you use? I can speak about esoui.com only.

    I use Minion as an addon manager, but it occasionally fails to unzip an updated addon. 41 addons, some running OK outdated. Keep an eye on the comments page of the addon.

    Regarding links in chat - this happens to me as well sometimes. Reloadui (hotkeyed thanks to one of the addons) or relog to fix it. Even with all addons disabled this has happened, so it's not solely a problem caused by addons. I'll admit it's been awhile since I tested it.

    Interesting.. thanks for the info. I'll definitely try /reloadui or relogging next time. I only use a couple addons and I'm not sure which site they came from.

    @ZoS have you had any other reports of this, or are you aware of any related bugs?

    You are not alone. I have never been able to open items linked in chat for ESO. Granted, I use a several add ons, but even with them all disabled at log in, I still can't open linked items.
