The computer was bought in April this year, but of course tt could be damage from the factory as well. The odd thing is, however, that ESO is the only game (tried total 5) that creates this issue.
@inspiral1 yeah, mine is bought just 5 months ago as well. Something did happen to my game around Update 3 as well. The textures stopped to render as they are supposed to. But this issue is a new one and has appeared after Update 4.
Turning settings down is going to reduce load on the card and that will lower the temperatures.mikaelvinrothb16_ESO wrote: »Ok! An important update regarding the issue:I tried all different kind of in-game gfx settings and found that turning on V-Sync (had it off, never had any real problem with tearing) did solve the matter.
I have no idea how that would affect my GPU temperature. Only god knows... And only god knows if god knows...
You might want to look into the airflow in your case too.mikaelvinrothb16_ESO wrote: »Yes, but no setting apart from V-Sync has been changed and yet, it lowered the temperature of my card with 10-15C. Feels not right, but my hardware skills are quite limited.
80~85C is normal for GPUs.You might want to look into the airflow in your case too.mikaelvinrothb16_ESO wrote: »Yes, but no setting apart from V-Sync has been changed and yet, it lowered the temperature of my card with 10-15C. Feels not right, but my hardware skills are quite limited.

The strange thing is that very heavy games (such as Watch Dogs) only cranks the voltage up to about 40% or so.Ok! @inspiral1 is the issue regarding gfx rendering the one where, when you approach a NPC real close it first render it in Low, then High, and the directly snaps back to Low and stays there? In that case there's a temporary solution you can try (if you not already have).
Depends on the GPU but that's a little hot, mine runs at 65DegC at load. And a good case (and fans) helps with airflow.80~85C is normal for GPUs.You might want to look into the airflow in your case too.mikaelvinrothb16_ESO wrote: »Yes, but no setting apart from V-Sync has been changed and yet, it lowered the temperature of my card with 10-15C. Thanks! I'll visit Harborage and see how different settings might affect the GPU load.JasonSilverSpring wrote: »I have noticed that ESO will push the power above 100% for my GTX 780Ti at times, especially in areas that are either solo instanced or with very low populations. The Harborage is a very good place to see how hard the game will push your GPU. Without vsync that area pushes the card hotter than most other areas. My card will get hot there when it is pushing 100 FPS.
