+1 to removing or having a hide option for the tassets. Or at least give us some social clothing to wear around when we feel like roleplaying and not fighting.

I know this is low priority for some people but I put a lot of time into making my characters look good. And I can't not notice these because they are constantly in my face as I'm playing. What makes it worse is they hover so far away from my body that I can actually see how incredibly good my armor would look without them. So please give this some serious consideration.

i think this needs a bump, as this has NOT been addressed in nearly 2 years, and i find it degrading to have to have "mud flaps" as they are called on my Medium Armor, these are a Heavy Armor item, they have no place (or right) to be on Light/Medium Armor.

I'm also appalled that this has gone for so long without much attention either, is there any PR here? These "magically hovering armor pieces" that have NO connecting point could have a 15 minute tweak and be fixed and ready for the next patch, however, seeing as how there are several armor pieces with the "***" there has been more than enough time to delete the incorrect adornments of both Light and Medium Armors. Additionally, Light Armors shouldn't even have Shoulder pieces, yet there they are.

I'm curious who was put in charge of Armor Design, clearly this person did not know anything about Armor, and didn't offer any effort towards researching both the game, and the modding community resources. I mean seriously, it doesn't cost you anything to perform an image search on Google for Elder Scroll Armor, or browse the Armor mods on The Nexus. Heck, a large majority of modders don't even use those as they are just an extra unnecessary mesh to build, when the overall aesthetic is achieved without.

    PRETENDO TYME!
"Oh but you see, while making the game we ran into an issue where the weapons were floating too far away from the hips, so we added this in as a filler."
Hmm, good point, however, this wouldn't be an issue if you used a better character skeleton... and there are tons available on The Nexus mods, and modders who probably could do, (and have done) a better job at that. Ok, so... So now that this is cleared up, what's the deal with the shoulder gear hovering so far out?
"This too is a fix upon our prior issues with clipping character shoulders, there were some characters with such large builds that their body would clip through the shoulder piece. It really is quite intuitive, I hear its a novel idea."
I don't think you understood what they meant, novel idea's usually aren't novice mistakes elsewhere... The modding community is probably just ITCHING to release an unofficial patch for ESO, they probably already have a list of items to fix in the UESOP that you were either somehow too busy over the course of two years to fix, or out on vacation so many times that you lost track of your progress and had to refresh your memory to remember. I'm sure there is a new program starting up for you to incorporate the modding community's biggest fixing team for the ESO game right?... right??
"Uh, well, um... that does make sense, and where as that would help improve... hang on... ok, i'm being informed that i'm being fired now for using logic.
Hmm, so it is true, it can't happen because it would make sense...

Dont remove them. Add a toggle to switch them off.
P2P offered you 'hell yeah!' moments. F2P offers you 'thank god its over' moments.

I did this suggestion. I absolutely hate the ugly higher level armor. It is just way too complicated. Hell, the low level bosmer medium armor is what I'd imagine they'd wear in their humid environment.

It's worse on some armor than others. BTW those mud flaps are called "tassets", but technically shouldnt be included on what amounts to clothing (at least for light armor). they're fine on medium in most cases, IMO.

Khajiit light armor is exceptionally bad about this, though. Those flaps are huge.

And at one time you couldn't see them.

I have to agree. Id like much smaller ones on ,edium ar,armour. When the/y changed the khajiit light top I was a bit sad I needed to change ,my armour. I liked it the way it was, and I could show off my arm tats.
